Listening to the commentators, I have to say I would like to see GB win this race once just to hear Malin go nuts Laughing

Here we go, halfway point Zach starting to bark.

Also, props to Strijbos. Old man holdin’ it down out there.
Tixier is the one barking! Wink

Kind of expected more from coldenhoff here, then again the top few nations already have gate choice pretty solidified.
he is a bit of a slow starter ..who knows , but 3rd is already good enough for a good gatepick ..we get 1 or 2...

Bullshit. I guess he isn't that sand specialist at all. He never has anything for Herlings in the sand and on Dutch Masters always in the mix with other gp riders. His best results in mxgp are on hardpack tracks.

He just can't go with the pace of Jonass and even Strijbos

Tixier passed Osborne ... never would have expected that to happen , to me Osborne would be the best of the 3 on this track but his pace is a bit off .. this class isnt stacked , not many top hitters so he should be top 3 at least ..maybe has a problem .. we probably get to know in next minutes from some experts on here

Great rides from Jonass and Strijbos. I said a couple of times people are seriously sleeping on Belgium, and they’re on pole. They’ll be delighted with that.

Very good ride from Simpson, he was outside the top 20, crashed on the first lap and still got 4th which is very important for us.

Reagan Duffy and Webster very impressive, no matter who is on the team, when the gate drops, Australia bring it.

Why are some commenting on the race 10 min apart? Is the race delayed in different parts of the world...

What type of gate pick will the US get with 6-1-7 ?

he is always top 5 at Assen MXGP , take out Cairoli , Anstie and other injured riders and here you go
he should be decent enough to get top 3 or maybe a win tomorrow , when it counts

USA made the right call putting Anderson in MXGP and not Osborne. 7th by no means a disastrous result, but that wasn’t a good ride at all. Took him a good few laps to catch and pass Bastian Bogh Damm who is on a 250, and Tixier was behind him, crashed, and then got up and caught and passed him.

Yet you have no clue if there was a vision or some other issue. maybe Team USA finally realized blowing your wad on Saturday is not the best answer.

Solid ride from Belgium! Lets hope they can put it together tomorrow.

Dutch really good also, wonder if the Hoff just took it easy or if he wasnt feeling it.

USA, Osborne hopefully got more to show, if not, he'll have half the MXGP field in front of him tomorrow also. Cooper good ride, but will he be able to repeat it tomorrow for the full duration in heavier conditions?

France, a bit of an expected performance IMO. I think they'll be lucky to get on the podium tomorrow.

Wonder what the strategy for the gate picks will be.

Lets hope for some good luck with the weather gods, looks like its going to rain alot the coming 24hrs.

Untill tomorrow!

why ? he isnt Herlings good in sand .
he had a good race ,steady laptimes and looked to be on cruise control settling for 3rd ..
3rd makes second gatepick , he could have spent a lot of energy trying to beat the others for first gatepick ?? first or second doesnt make that much of a difference in my opinion

tomorrow is when it counts

I was sure that Osborne would be the worst of the 3. His style a bit "out of control" isn't effective on a track like Assen imo.

Hopefully Zacho was just saving it all for tomorrow. Those last laps were rough. The one lap they show him he was sketchy the entire lap Grinning

Lots of talent out there, and USA has as good a chance as anyone.
