Actually, I don't get all the fuss about Forato...All of this because he rode one (!) good GP as a wildcard (his second one in Mantova was a lot less heroic, but everyone seems to forget about that). His results in EMX250 are not that impressive either (this season not considered)
2016: 23rd in the final standings (best finish: 4-6 at his homerace in Mantova, other results were mediocre at best)
2017: 4th in the final standings. This seemed to be his breakthrough season
2018: 14th in the final standings
Offcourse, he's still only 19 years old, but during his career in EMX250 he saw guys like Prado, TKO, Geerts, Lawrence, Sanayei, Vaessen, Boisramé, Walsh, Strubhart-Moreau, Lesiardo, Vialle,... come into the class from EMX125 and leave to MX2, to the next step in their careers. It seems as if he keeps on pedaling on the same spot.
Sure, he can haul ass. I'm just not that convinced that he can compete at the front of MX2 for a full season. Let alone in MXGP. Does he earns a spot in MX2? Ofcourse he does! Not bashing on the guy, but he hasn't done that much to convince me to be a frontrunner in the worldchampionship.
I hope he proves me wrong.
* Had a good GP at Valkenswaard, scoring a 7th place
* He is winning in EMX250 against strong competition. Rubini has never raced a full gp season but scored 6 motos in the top 10 (including a 5th), vd Moosdijk scored a 5th in Portugal this year, Horgmo & Hofer are easily beaten by Forato and they scored combined 36 points in Czech republic
* He has a couple of years in mx2 left.
I mean if a guy like Mitch Harrison can get a new deal for 2020 with a decent team after only going into the top 10 once this year i can for sure see a lot of teams being interested in Forato

With allot of top guys moving to MXGP and dont see a reason why he cant run op front, same with #39 and #118.
This is something I just thought about, so this ain't a real rumor, but it would be a possible scenario: If HSF doesn't want to start his own team, and also doesn't wanna become part of a team anymore but wants to stay into the sport he can become a very important partner for Brian Bogers and Calvin Vlaanderen. As personal sponsor, like Kevin Strijbos got HENS, he can pay for example 50-70k to the team and that the team can use this money to pay the rider and already some of the costs. He could maybe create some sort of helmet deal with those teams... If he keeps backing those riders up they normally should get a ride in a decent team.
Would one be allowed to 'rent' a bunch of meters of pit area during GP's to set up a hospitality unit when you don't have a team?
Let's wait for MXGP of Imola for some official info.
What amazes me is that after this year where KTM got shafted in MXGP with two injuries RB KTM would go only with Vialle?
At the moment I'am not in the position to share info, thats all.
But most of the rumors here I heard also.
Interresting 1 I heard and not seen here, Herlings to Husky and 27 losing his spot there. But just a rumor.
Pit Row
Maybe im wrong... i think if its happens is a good movement for ktm group
(off topic - in MotoGP paddock there are also surfacing rumous that Jorge Lorenzo would leave (somehow) his valid contract with HRC and go on satelite Ducati to Pramac which is insane, well similar level of insane)
Thanks for info and crossing finger for you in the rest of the reason.
KTM roadbikes, Husky the offroad section, Husky has always been a big name in the states the biggest offroad market.
KTM invest real money in the motogp, moto2 and moto3, you can spend your money only once.
Waters 9th overall, best moto 4th
Ferris 11th, best 4th
Guillod 9th, best 3th
Bobryshev best 3rd, injured
Jasikonis 13th, best 3rd
Nagl 8th, best 1st
Simpson best 1st, injured
Coldenhoff, 7th best 3rd
Anstie, best 3rd, injured
Van Horebeek 9th best 3rd
If you are ok to have a team of riders that will get a couple of podiums a year then you have no trouble signing these guys for cheap every season. Just wait out silly season and you can pick from a couple of guys that lost out.
You could even think about not signing a guy like desalle or febvre and use the money you save to fund a 3rd bike for a young guy. So go for a combo of Anstie, van Horebeek and a young guy like Jacobi or Vlaanderen. Also helps cover for the injury bug.
And why shut they pay a lot off money to buy Everts out, the numbers of off-road they sell in Europe isn't worth it, they are doing well in the motogp but they have only 2 bikes on the grid, the other factorys have 2 factory and 2 satellite factory supported bikes on the grid.
They have still a factory team in the USA the biggest offroad market.
All the factories are cutting back on their bugets, see how hard it is for good drivers to find a seat.
It looks like KTM Group is pushing KTM and Husqvarna as equal makes. To me its a bit weird to then have 3 MXGP championship contenders on a KTM and 0 on a Husqvarna. And at the same time have 3 factory husqvarna bikes in MX2 and only 1 for KTM.
Money talks. Max Anstie is out of Standing Construct, despite his amazing performance in Lommel and podium speed nearly every race.
(Not an insult to Tim Mathys, whom really stepped up this year to help him)
Now Anstie is free, do Honda look at him or is Seewer a dead cert for that bike?
