Why did they put markers below the berm after the finish? Afraid Eli is gonna carry too much speed around the outside like last year???

Have no clue about local weather conditions, only paying attention as of the last 15-30 mins, but read someone say “not a mudder,” which leads me to believe there has been no rain. Is that correct? If so, how much damn water had gone down on that track? Watched the first bit of quali stream for 250’s and kept thinking “it really didn’t rain? Why is it so wet?”

They've definitely had rain. Not sure what the weather is for the rest of the day though. Edit: 30% chance of rain, 85 for a high.

There are a bunch of places where the markers are narrowing down an already narrow track. I don't get it.

The chuck sun was always a table top, that's just not it, the track used to go deeper into the infield and it was after the existing corner after what is being called "the chuck sun"
