I think reed just had a gut check and didnt have the balls to punt James to the ground.
Congrats to James Stewart for the Championship.
I'm actually disappointed how James got arrogant and cocky after the race, especially since he hasn't exactly been the model of nice on the race track in years past.
James could have taken the high road but he's no different then Reed with his post race comments. Not very professional IMO.
Tom.
CR did what he had to do with a person that was cruising around in front of him
I got a bridge to sell you....
Pit Row
WINNERS go out and WIN, they don't hope for mistakes.
That and why does JS always play the victim, like everyone doubts him and wants him to loose. he is the most popular guy in the sport now that RC is gone and has the biggest fan base. He is the hands on favorite for every champion he races in now that RC is gone.
Sad.
It was the safest place for contact. Wide open flat area behind the stadium where beyond the tough blocks there were acres of room for JS to ride off the track and Chad knew that bumping during a pass back there wasnt going to take a rider like JS out. Neither of these guys are stupid. Chad knew he couldnt win the championship 6 points down, even said so on the podium. Everyone going there tonight knew JS had it if he rode smart and stayed out of trouble, even Chad.
I think he rode intelligently. His best chance of winning was to sit on JS and try to pressure him to make a BIG mistake on his own. Chad has never been a dirty rider, and proved it again tonight that he doesnt have the heart to be dirty. BTW, OT... Chad really doesnt give a shit what either of us thinks, in all honesty.
Next year will be fun for sure!
This year was filled with great racing, end of story!
