Bummer to see his health suffer. Hope it’s nothing serious and gets back to normal. He obviously can still get out there and ride fast for little bit so that’s a good sign but something is going on.

To throw up in first moto while riding is concerning.
As a fan I’m just worried and hope he’s ok in the overall scheme of things.

I think the next weekend off will do wonders for him and other guys as well. When Ken is fresh like at the start of moto’s, he’s near the very best.

Bummer deal to have the speed back finally after such brutal arm injuries and then you have anti-biotics cycles just completely destroy you. I thinking he should stop racing and just focus on recovery and come back and kick ass in 2020.

Be curious to see what the doctors think it is since I’m sure he has been and had blood work done and such but he is staying hush hush for now. Guess really none of our business anyways.

Hell no, he needs to keep the momentum going of just being out there and getting gate drops. Everyone always says how difficult it is to come back after injury and rebuild your confidence, so why would you voluntarily sit out for additional months and lose valuable race experience?

I thought he sounded dejected in the Interview at red buds today. Normally he is always upbeat but this latest issue, whatever it is, seems to have him really down. Understandable given how he had the red plate a few races ago and has had the speed at every race.

He has had tests by the Red Bull medical team and other medical providers for months and months. I like the guy and love his speed but he just is not in good enough condition to run that speed for 30 minutes like ET and MM. But no one else is either except Zacho.

As CivBars said above, if you have never thrown up racing you are not trying hard enough.

If he was Swedish that'd be a great score. But for Kenny it's just not good.

If they don’t know what it is.. I wonder if they looked at it being anxiety or gastrointestinal based... I had it when I played independent ball in my mid 20’s and it had me OFF, feeling weak and throwing up all the time .. especially on the days I drank coffee.. just things you wouldn’t think of.. I dunno...

I think Kenny's just been pushin to hard for to long and has stressed his body. I think he just needs alot of time and rest. I don't believe he will be 100% until A1 after the off season of rest. I hate saying that, cause I would love to see him come back and win the title, but I think he will come back strong in Millville after a week off then struggle the final 4 rounds. Get well soon KR94

I love how he just non chalantly was like "yea I puked first moto". I was dying. Like...i puked while scuba diving once and nearly died...puking and maintaining nearly top 5 speed is crazy. He's a hell of an athlete. I hope these 2 weeks get him back to 90% or whatever he was at early season. Dude's an animal. I think he has a couple more over all wins this season.

That being said, I'm hyped for tomac. Finally riding smart and fast. That's dangerous

Could be something like Dengue Fever from a mosquito. That shit is prevalent in the Caribbean and reported regularily in Florida. I know cause I had it, and it keeps you down for months. 4 types and if you have the first 2 you might not even really know it, just have some flu symptoms for a couple of days. I feel like I am a good authority on diagnosing this for Ken since I drove by a Holiday Inn this week.

I’d bet money Ken is suffering from RED-S, and will shut it down in 1-2 rounds to give himself as much time as possible to rest/recover, and get his health right, before getting started on sx prep.

That erectile disfuntion associated with RED-S would be enough for me to hang up the boots for a while!! Seriously though I can see the caloric deficit occurring under Bakers program (AC92) Being a glaring example of that...but Kenny has addressed this calorie issue before...Looking at hos body Kenny is jacked right now...I think he has put on too much mass...so you may be right...over training...not enough nutrient dense calories and the result is a flat performance on the weekends...

If he’s so sick then why doesn’t he call it a season? He’s out of championship contention now. It doesn’t make sense to keep going and not recover.

I just walked outside yesterday and the heat tired me out!

Can you imagine what it takes to ride at that level for 75 minutes?
