Someone will have to put the vid on here but ww ranch posted a vid of them testing a split lane and the owner was jumping up and down when he seen it worked.. such a great facility this is gonna be such a good race in a couple weeks.. believe cianciarulo is one of the riders testing it in the vid.

Outside inside looked a touch faster. But won't know for sure till you get a good practice day and race day. Looks fun as shit though.

I love the emotion, infectious. I had to yell "GOTDAMN YOU SEE THAT?!?!?!" along with him the second time I watched it.

Awesome.

In theory a split lane would work better in MX as opposed to SX with track conditions changing to drastically throughout the day

Cool video but as someone else mentioned the outside inside option is definitely faster. AC came into the first turn a few bike lengths behind and came out ahead of the other guy. To be fair though I'm not sure who the other guy is so skill could definitely play a factor.

Lets say there is no jump before or after, It's like slot cars.

If everything is equal, it is equal. The guy coming out in the end in front is all on the rider/guy with the trigger.

For Example Z

I think it's just that AC was charging way harder than the other rider. Of course one side will be quicker since they all have the GPS data and shit but I think it looks about as even as you could make a split section.

Hell yeah I like seeing someone trying to come up with better ideas. This type of thing gives a rider the chance to pass someone by simply carrying more speed, instead of being forced to take another line that might not be equal. Awesome. Cant wait to see that track and the racing on it.

Cool but agree with comments above, the outside/inside needs a bump or something to slow it down slightly

I don't think the majority of you understand. Junior loves MX. Junior is wealthy. The only thing that can hurt Junior is our weird weather. Just let me tell you this...you're going to be shocked when you see what D5 Caterpillars - given enough dirt - can do to Florida's flat ass land.

It really goes to show with what he did for the GP. I'm glad he's on the pro national schedule this year!

That's the thing about MX. Bumps develop spontaneously. If one line is faster, it will be the line of choice, 'til it ain't.

I messaged them on facebook about the "fan pack" I seen when I was ordering my tickets and was really impressed by their quick response, and the person who messaged me back wasn't sure what was in it and had to check with someone else, so I thought I'd hear back in a couple days... Nope 10 minutes later she responded with what was included. My buddy also sent a message about cooler (to keep our water cold ya know.... lol) and they responded right away and said coolers and beer were allowed but please do not bring glass bottles. Just little things like replying quickly goes a long way to me and tells me they really care about making their facility and races great. I was at the MXGP there and it was amazing! And I've been seeing them for months on fb clearing out more parking and improving their site.

Really nice guy, great facility and awesome track! We ended up staying an extra day during our FL ride trip in 2017.

Although I will say I've never been to a track that has such a unique way of splitting practice sessions. I'm not sure if it has changed since, or if the track is even the same, but when I was there they basically split the groups based on if you were "jumping the big table in the middle." Which I can definitely understand the safety factor there, but as I'm sure most of you know, there are C riders out there that will huck just about anything haha. So this resulted in some dudes that didn't really have any business being out there in the faster group.

However, the best part was that the rule also worked in the reverse. AKA an A/B guy who didn't jump the table was yanked and put in the slower/non-jump group. Not sure if it was the owner or one of the workers, but he would hangout on his 4-wheeler right beside the table and if you weren't doing it he'd come over and yank you. And of course this happened to one of the guys in our ride group which made for great shit talking grounds amongst our group of up-and-coming/washed up A/ local prosLaughing hahah.

Needless to say he wasn't a fan, but the rest of our group really enjoyed the facility and how nice everyone was! If I remember right the owner even came back over and gave Kobusch his money back and told him he could ride whenever he liked. Thought that was pretty cool. Overall very nice dude and great track

They are great people at WW. I went there when I was in Florida during Christmas. It had rained the day before and the track wasn't great, a bit wet and lots of ruts. When I signed up Jr's wife (can't remember her name) was very nice. She told me if I go out and ride and don't like the track conditions, she would give me a full refund.
Although I appreciated the gesture I told her I would never go out and ride and expect my money back just because it's too wet.
