Title says it , haven't been out riding at the track since I bought my new bike over a year ago. The stars finally aligned and I made it out this week to a local practice track here in Virginia. What a breath of fresh air , just when I thought about hanging it up and selling the bike untill my life calmed down . I Was supposed to go riding tomorrow but we just had a massive flood . May try to go get some mud practice in anyways . I hope other people here on the board are getting out and riding , and if your not I hope you can soon !

That's what it's all about, man. Just ride and have fun, forget about all the other stuff.

I usually hit a track 2 times a week, but last Sunday I went freeriding around my neighborhood. Found a nice spot in a flood retention area to build a cool little turn-track. The more seat time the better to me, can now ride much more often.

Yeah same here brother , I talked my wife into going back into nursing school last year because I know how much it means to her to have her dream career , so I kinda had to out moto on the back burner for a while which is ok with me . If I can get out and ride a couple times a month I'm ok with it honestly, and my wife supports and wants me to do it. just have had more important things to do lately . You'll get out there soon ! Have fun when you do .

Yeah that sounds about like me , I have several miles of trails behind house . I've got a couple hill climbs and some other stuff back there but not much room for a turn track. But that's been about the extent of my riding for the last 2 years . He rides his quad but wants a bike which I'm all ears to that . So when the wallet allows were gonna get him one.

I rode for the 3rd time on sunday since i fully healed in january. I havent had much desire to ride in these last 4/5 months. Sunday sparked the interest again. I forgot how much effort it takes even just to ride in 1st gear on single track

Yeah..real life gets in the way...Im soon gonna have a turn track to ride on through the week..when I get the opportunity..just too broke to do anything at the moment...broken bones = time of work= broken wallet..no matter, that will soon change...nice to go riding on a week day when you really should be at work...kinda like drinking beer in the sun..one of lifes simple pleasures

I’m with you guys. Haven’t ridden in a year and a half due to the bikes transmission taking a shit after being completely redone professionally. Didn’t have the money to fix it again. And I didn’t have the money to fix it myself either.

Finally things are getting better. About to go buy an 18 Rmz 450 and a $5000 pickup and I’ll be ready to have all sorts of fun throughout the summer Cool

Lucky man! I havent ridden more than once in the last two years due to severe arm pump from carpal tunnel. Got that fixed in January, but now I have severe tendonitis in the left elbow from overworking it (Construction ya know), and I'm still battling a bit with a numb left thigh, although that is more of a nuisance. The elbow, however, has limited movement and very little strength during extension. They are predicting 2-3 months for recovery. Damn it!

Got out and rode today the track was a slop house at first but it came around . Only got about 2 hours in , I to am struggling with arm pump but I'm very out of shape. It finally went away my last set of laps and I was good and dialed in right before I had to leaveSad me and the wife have a great lunch though! Hoping to keep working on my technique and getting a little quicker and making it over all the jumps. Here's 2 pics my awesome wife took !

I only laid off for 2 months and it was a bitch riding again. I had a post about crashing and pissing blood so I meant to lay off for a couple weeks, then went into sciatic nerve back pain an out of town family visit which was really a good time. It felt a little out of sorts and right when I started feeling it I got real tired. Back out again Thursday or Friday.
