I was just there Saturday. My class wasn't very big, 10 guys in +40 b/c. You looked good hucking that triple, I was having no part of that Laughing

Nice work! I must’ve missed that one. Didn’t get much time to watch Saturday. That triple was fun, but highly doubt I’d attempt it on a 125! Cased it pretty good the first time and it was quite the hit.

Shoot me a text 309-258-4671. My name's Nick. I'm heading to ride BCMX in Cambridge today. I would love to get connected and find some riding buddies!!!
How was BCMX? I was gonna head up there yesterday but work meetings said otherwise

It was really good! I would say it's an above average track, mostly sand which makes it easy to build a track. I mean you could let me make a turn track in a sand pit and i'd say it was sikk. However I had lots of fun and liked the soil and layout.

I'm heading to Moto 108 tomorrow. They're open 12-5 both days this weekend. It's an A & B track only so if you're in that group and like big jumps you should try to go!! It's highly regarded as one of the best tracks in Minnesota.

I went to Meadow Valley MX Monday, first time on a track since 2001 and had a blast! Looking to get out a few more times this year and relearn everything.

Just rode other two Wheeler tracks couple weeks ago on a Friday when Meadow Valley was rained out, first time since early 2000's.

Heard Christian and other local pros rides there in spring,. Was always sandy light soil, but now it's pure lose sand. Tough ass kicking tracks.

My parents, wife, and I are camping at spring creek next weekend (but we aren’t racing). We are planning to arrive around 6pm or so on Wednesday, any idea what traffic is like at that time? I’m wondering if we will be sitting in line waiting to have our camper searched for booze (how thorough is that search??). I’m looking forward to getting back to Spring Creek and this will be our first year camping and attending the amateur stuff.

Traffic out of the cities won't be the best at the time. Prolly be pretty busy. Once you get south though it will be smooth sailing and you should miss a lot of the traffic at the track because the big day is not until Saturday. As for the search it's not too bad but they definitely take a good look around your camper.

Thanks for the info, I’m not too worried about the cities traffic since I deal with it everyday but I’m glad to hear the line up at the track won’t be too bad.

Nice! I’ll be heading there Wednesday as well, Thursday if it’s rainy on Wednesday. I just checked their site to check the booze rules because in years past you were allowed it at your campsite, just not trackside where they sold beer. Looks like that’s changed this year, I guess? Bummer if true. The nightlife was always great and half the fun at Millville at all the campsites, with people playing games and partying. I don’t know why they would change that.

Yeah, I remember racing against a lot of those guys over the years. It was a lot of fun and not sure how I ever had the time to do all that racing. Really fortunate to have been around during the 2000-2006 era. Economy was strong, turnouts were huge, made a lot of friends. I also remember using the wisconsinmx website. At least, that's what I thought it was called. It's been gone for 5-6 years now I bet. Must be getting old when you start to reminisce about how good the past was....

I’m with you about the good old days. We may be getting older, but those were definitely better days as far as MX goes. Wisconsinmx was great. Too bad it faded out, but that was before social media. T-fish in this thread was the Big Lenny of wisconsinmx. Laughing
I'm happy to report that T-Fish hasn't changed! He loves to tell it like he sees it, even if it ruffles feathers. Most people on chat boards hate him, but he's a pretty damn nice dude. He'll help you when you need it, and any way he can. I talk to him almost every day and ride with him when I can.

The track at Lake Geneva is gone, a couple of years ago the track was still there but now it’s just plowed fields. They also burned the barn down a couple of years ago as well. I live about 5 mins from where maplehurst use to be but that’s way before my time.
That's unfortunate that mapleherst closed. My old man used to be Jim Vuglers (spelling?) mechanic so I heard all about mapleherst. The track closed a couple of years before I started riding. I grew up like 5-10 minutes south of there in Johnsburg.

They are right off highway 12 maybe 7 or 8 miles north of the border. To the west is a huge mx track and on the east side looks like a sx style track

I see the tracks on google maps now, they look pretty good. It seems like they are just on some guys property though and not open to the public.

Yeah I know that's why I asked if anyone in here was the owner.
