Serious question : How and why would a teacher's skin color have any reasoning at all behind it , to be chosen for that job? Why would anyone base their applicant's hiring , on their skin color........and not their actual merit on performing the job? This is indefensible and wrong. In addition to the racism, it sets a dangerous precedent, that will eventually force at best a double standard and at worse greater racial divides...To apply the same logic, maybe it is better to have majority teachers in majority-majority schools...If the teachers can represent the student body...then in majority-majority (white) schools, when minority teachers with more seniority are laid off before white teachers (who represent the student body), and hell is raised (the racial divide is perpetuated)...or...they don't apply the standard to white school, and the double standard becomes apparent. And, how is this helping...
