How many hours on the bike and how is it holding up? Considering switching to Big Y 150s from a 110L.

Have about three days practice on it, with a few hard laps. The others were chasing my 8 and 5 year old on the 65 and 50. Everything is fine, holding good. Valves are still spec. The motor is sensitive to outside temp changes. Ive adjusted the jetting on several occasions. Plan to put an oil cooler on before summer hits. I'm happy with my purchase.

Ok great, thanks! I was trying to find the nearest dealership, but the ycf website only list dealers in FL and one in MO. If shipping is included then it doesn't really matter where it's coming from as long as it's in working order when it arrives. How was your experience with them?

Which models have 14/12 wheel sizes?

I’m assuming these are superior to Pitster Pro’s offerings in this day?

I was also wondering how they compare to the newest Pitster Pro minis.

It was free shipping. They are in Edgewater, Fl. I’m in Louisiana. I had the bike in two days after purchasing. Piranha is made by Ycf, Sp3 model. The musquin’s appear to enjoy the Ycf. Not surprising as the owner of Ycf is french.

Awesome. Thanks for the help! I can't tell for sure but it looks like she's on the same bike we're looking to get. Pilot F150? But I'm trying to justify getting the sp2 150

I tried using the YCF websites contact form and got this lol

I'm assuming that means they upgraded me to overnight shipping. Sweet.

YCF makes the Piranha line of bikes, they are essentially the same bike with different graphics.

bike weights: these are w/fuel+oil
Piranha 190 [SP3] 178#
Piranha 140 [SP2] 165#

Have a couple of pit bike threads going on so decided to drop this one in a new thread, instead of bogging down the other ones. I bought this about a month ago and redid a few things to my liking. I will do my best to respond to any questions. Enjoy.

thanks dude. Im on this bandwagon now. My two boys are not really racing anymore. I see they 50 and 150 in the near future for the kids. I am dead set on getting off of the Pw50 but not so sure about the Yz65.

What dealer did you get it from? I called Volusia motorsports this morning to get some info on the 88cc models. I'm still a year or so out but this is definitely an option. The bikes seem to be of decent quality, any ideas as far as parts availability, dependability, etc. Thanks.

I didnt go through a dealer. I went through them direct. Yannick@ycf-riding.com. 386-337-1411. Yannick is the founder and owner. He is french. He is located is Edgewater, Fl. Last I spoke to him, everybike and part was in stock. If you look on the Ycf USA website there is a parts catalog. Contact him and he can get you a bike shipped to your door. Took two days to get mine. I believe it’s free shipping but don’t hold me to that, as I was only a couple States away.

Glad to hear you had a good experience with them! I was seriously considering YCF and I think there is definitely something to be said for their premier line. Daytona and all of the other high end components are at a price that's hard to beat compared to building your own. They didn't have the 14/12 wheel size Factory SP line in stock as of last week and I wasn't willing to get a Bigy 17/14 and an additional set of 14/12 wheels. The frames are different as well and I wanted a 110 sized bike vs 140. It looks as if their less expensive offerings should be at least on par with brands like SSR. The 88cc caught my eye too Smile

Yea that was my plan, to get a set of 14/12 wheels. I chose the bigy because it was larger overall. I’m 6’1 240lbs. If they have a race around here I could swap the wheels. It looks like I can go bigger too. 19/16 set up would be cool.

I was told shipping is $250 from Alec. He is also based out of Florida and is the person I got the response from when I e-mailed them.

Super pumped on getting bike of the day! Bike checks is one of my favorite sections. Nice to see a pit bike get noticed for that major award. My life is now complete. ?

How big is it compared to a klx110? Being 6’3” and having my butt ride on the rear fender is what lead me to give up on pitbikes. That thing looks wicked. ????
Let me tell you about pitbikes for tall guys..... get an 85 they're so awesome!
I rode a 2017 kx85 yesterday and was blown away at how fast it was gone stock. I'm seriously looking into getting one now
