The four stroke era hasn’t been kind to Suzuki.

I've had a couple

Had a '96, '00 and '02 also but don't have any pictures available. Wish I would've kept them all for the $1500-$2000 I was able to get for them...

Was most of RC’s championships when riding for Suzuki on the rm250 or rmz450?

450. Only one SX title on the 2 stroke.

My 2003 RM 125 with a Eric Gorr 144 kit. The cylinder was ported for mid/top power. VForce 2 reeds, FMF Rev pipe & shorty. It used to be a F&S bike equipped with the sticker & all. I really regret selling it and even changing the graphics. That bike was a lot of fun.

This is my sons Supermini 112 built by Tony Mercier with help from the guys over at Bills Pipes. That's my boy at 13 he was already 120 lbs most kids in his class were under 100 lbs. This bike changed his racing he finally had enough power to keep up with the fast kids. This bike was faster than most stock 125's and had a linear power delivery that was so manageable from the bottom all the way to the moon with over rev. It had a stroker motor with a YZ85 rod and 52mm Yamaha oversized piston the crank was custom built and balanced. We had a one off factory FMF pipe built just for this motor. I still have all the parts in my garage we blew the head gasket and bent the rod the crank still needs to be rebuilt. we moved on to a 2011 YZ125 he swears the Supermini had more power.

That TUF seat cover rocks I had a full gear seat but not the seat cover. Had it imported from an ad in MXA to Australia in 89 Smile

Only RM 125 I have ever owned right here. I did buy my oldest son a new 2001 RM125 back in the day. What a fun bike that was. Only pics I think I have of it are on 3 1/2" floppies...Laughing

Anyway, back to mine. 77 RM125 Pat Richter/Fox replica. Simon's Front end, Fox/Thor Swing arm, Fox Air Shox, Fox pipe and a 100% correct replica Fox watercooled head cut from billet by a couple friends I met here on Vital. Pretty amazing talent that hangs out here. Guy B photos.

This was my first brand new bike back in ‘99. Now it’s sitting in my office!

My favorite bike of all time... And one of the most influential MX bikes as well as the dominate bike of 1981....

This was the finished product after I picked up a $400 ‘04 from a dude on offer up a couple years back. I basically handed him the money as I was stepping out of the truck. Took it home and rebuilt it as a little summer project then ended up selling it to a buddy of mine for 2 grand. It was for his son to ride so I use that as justification every time I think about that mistake when I see a Suzuki smoker. Still can’t believe I never took it to the track and let it sing.

You’re right but this thread just makes me nostalgic for the times when their 2 strokes were great especially the 125. Plus they had lots of
contingency and half the field at the pro races were riding zooks. No not too many ride them now around my local area.

Still have a decent size parts list I need to start crossing off but it’s been a fun off and on project for me for like 18 months now ha!

This is what my RM looked like when I sold it. Very fun bike to say the least.
Last ride I had on a RM125.
With the RM on the famous St. Jean D’Angely step-up.
The ‘05 with Geboers graphics.
Here’s me on my first RM125 in the year 2000. First race on the bike at Valkenswaard. I was a bit too small as you can see.

Yes like many other wheelstanders, trailblasers, reedy creek, pine rivers, Brisbane north, Red Cliff, and and and all gone. Noise and cost shut a lot of them down Sad
