You know I met him in the airport two years ago and he was Tomac back then too... isn’t that something?

He's on another level when he's on.

Just enjoy what ET3 does. We are fortunate to see it unfold.

Go watch him ride in person. All happiness ensues. One of the best ever.

It’s not over, but it’s going to take a disaster for Webb not to finish this year off. Which doesn’t seem likely as consistent he’s been this season. His bad/off races have been results a lot of guys would kill for.
This is pretty standard for his seasons in SX, too little, too late.

He's going to win out and end the season with the most wins again but still lose the title... again. Sucks as a fan.

Can we wait till the outdoors at least start to give him that title? I personally don't see him winning it again, the competition is too strong this year in my opinion.

If everyone remembers, Eli was given the SX title before the season started as well. I think he is going to have his hands full outdoors this year. Coop is in Title preservation mode, so he isn't letting it hang out right now. He was a badass in his lites days outdoors as well, and we have all seen how he turned it around in SX this year. I bet Coop is gonna be a major player outdoors this year. Marv and BB4 gonna be right there and Anderson will be back. I don`t believe for a minute that ET will walk over the field this year.

Mmmmm. Don’t disagree Coop was badass outdoors on a little bike, and he’s already shown he can... but I still think Eli is the clear fav. The pace he is showing right now is super high, winning whilst passing through the field and Coop is still beating everyone else.

And then, Eli is better outdoors.

He found that magical setting. Beast mode engaged. When he’s on he looks flawless. Glad to see him be himself again
When tomac wins a race with the points lead I'll believe

X2. Coop will be a player. He'll be right there with Marv Kenny and Blake. Running up front and when Eli feels like turning it on 2sec a lap slower than him. I had hoped shades of 2016 KRoc would show up but that's not looking good. Blake is the real wildcard with his new speed in SX it bodes well for outdoors. Tomac jus has another gear though that no one else in Nationals has.

Yep, I don’t think Blake fears anyone but he has a lot to improve in terms of consistency.

I agree Eli is on it right now, but a large percentage said he was the fav for the sx title this year too before the season got rolling. He may still win it, but he won't roll over everyone all season, its just not in his DNA to be consistant.

Tomac should win the Nationals. But his poor starts could ruin that for him. Too many bad things can happen coming through the pack. Makes it exciting for us but risky for him.

KR94 will challenge him for sure. CW too. I don't think BB4 will be consistent enough over the whole series.

Anderson won't be in top form and Marvin, well 'ole Marv' looked old last night. He won't win any rounds this summer.

1) Eli
2) KR94 (close until the end trading wins with Eli)
3) Webb

Winning three years in a row is historically very tough. No one since RC has done it. Only two others, Tony D and Gary Jones won three in a row in the premier class. Bob Hannah did not even win three 250 Nationals in a row.

If Eli does pull it off he will be one of the all-time greats.

Having said that... here are his moto scores from last year's nats.

1-1, 1-1, 1-1, 2-1, 1-3, 1-2, 36(Engine)-9 , 1-1, 1-1, 1-2, 3-1, 2-9

15 moto wins, 21 moto podiums, 23 moto top 10s, and a dnf-in-a-pear-tree.

If anyone thinks Eli is not the fav for outdoors you need your head checked. If Roczen can’t find more speed no one can ride his pace outdoors when he decides to flip the switch. BB4 comes closest but he takes to long to get going. Could be an all time season though with everyone healthy.

I think Musquin, Cooper, Baggett, Roczen, and Barcia will all challenge Tomac at different times this summer. He is definitely the favorite though.

I'm curious if Cooper will be slow to start the outdoors due to the pressure of the SX title. I think he will be there though at some point running out front.

I think Baggett could surprise this summer. I thought I read in an interview that he is in the best shape in years.

Apparently last year and the year before are no indicators to what will happen outdoors this year.

That's like saying Jeffrey Herlings will not win most the motos when he comes back....

Guarantee you he does. (and Tomac does not have an injury)
