Really impressive how some teams are supporting this cause. The ones that don't put as much into it this weekend, well it's thier prerogative. I don't care for the military appreciation crap but this is awesome.

I think it's easier for some teams to participate more than other's. Factory teams have less leeway due to commitments with big time sponsors. They have to sign off on everything.

Still would be nice for them to make exceptions for special events like this one.
Exactly, if they can't or won't fine. Guess the other teams will have to get all the good publicity and good karma

Holy cow, people will bitch about anything.

Maybe we should look at it from the perspective of thanking any and all for any help to raise awareness and support. Stop shaming those who aren't going "big" enough for you on a given day. The fact that they run anything at all should be worthy of gratitude, not derision.

If you're gonna pimp a product, service or whatever, make it so it cannot be ignored...just my $.02
The stuff they are “pimping” isn’t usually small enough to be ignored.

Putting anything on your bike that gives even a slight amount of attention to a worthy charity like St. Jude's is a straight act of kindness. It shouldn’t be frowned upon at all.

Watching on Race Day Live. Ryan, Daniel and Jim are all in the booth wearing the “This Shirt Saves Lives.” Ryan sporting a Red Bull hat and his old Factory team barely shows up to play. The sticker is so small it took them a second to be able to clear up an image of it. Smartop Honda went ALL out.
I am probably confused here, but, wasn’t the message supposed to be about St. Jude’s? Frankly, I appreciate that KTM didn’t try to engage in marketing on the back of a charitable purpose.

Showed me how much there is a lack of creativity in this sport at the moment.

All of these looks so different than the current aesthetic - but look so good - that it would be cool for a brand to stand out like this all the time.

Killer attention pieces. I dig it.

Some of those are just awesome. Props to alot of sponsors kinda taking a bit of a back seat to this considering those who get to go to St. Jude never see a bill, no matter what the costs.

This. The other teams need to step up and cover their bikes and race gear to help bring awareness. A small sticker isn't doing too much on that front.

The real question is - how much awareness did the gear / kits bring to the cause?

I am slightly embarrassed to say I had to look up what “EABOD” meant. I need to study up on my internet insults.

I'm guessing it's less of a ktm issue, and more to do with Red Bull wanting their logos clear and visible at all times. Similar issue with rockstar too I bet

Idk but companies pay a good chunk of change to get that kinda air time. And who knows how much $$ is gonna be raised from the auction. I bet Dungeys ring is gonna skyrocket

Dungey is the face of ktm. Second to decoster in America I’d say. Whatever dunge does reflects on ktm. I don’t see what the fuss is about.

So what! This is the liberal mentality to destroy a company unless they do what you think is right. Unless they do harm, let it go.

I am close to a boy named Gabe who was recently featured on the St. Jude segments. He has been battling a cancerous brain tumor for over a year now.

KTM and Dungey visited Gabe at St. Judes and spent several hours with him. KTM has also hosted Gabe and his mother at 2 different SX races this year and of course he gets hooked up with the full treatment from KTM hospitality. The kid already has a room full of Dungey and KTM swag that was donated each time they see him.

The other teams and privateers had cool graphics and auction items, i get that, but what does that really do for the kids? When it comes down to making a positive impact on these children's lives, Dungey and KTM are more involved and caring than any other industry entity that I have seen. Why?, because they are putting in the time with sick kids who need the moral support to live.

Dungey's impact on Gabe has been nothing short of amazing and literally gives him the drive he needs to finish chemo and beat this terrible thing he has been dealing with.

So, STFU about your little dig at KTM's sticker size.

Beautiful story. Thank you for sharing it. The irony of jerkoffs on social media. There's no stickers, KTM is hypocrites.

What if KTM does plenty for the cause, the sticker could have been bigger, and no one is dumb or an asshole?
