The pics if they were indeed the original sale pics clearly show wear on the tubes and if as mentioned by the seller the buyer spoke to FC about them before buying them he knew what he was getting into. It certainly sounds like a case of buyer's remorse and now trying to blast someone on social media / internet forums.

Woah guys before anything get outa hand. I sold the guy a set of used a kit that was just serviced by jake at factory connection in oregon and had about an hour on it. I spent 1300 bucks with them to have everything replaced and set up. I live in Oregon and not posing as anything. This guy bought this set in December. It’s April. It’s used I never claimed it to be perfect but it had an hour on it since servicing. I’ll post receipts. He’s just randomly hit me up this morning freaking out. I’ll post pics Of the invoices. Everyone calm down. Idk what this guys problem is. Here is exactly how it was posted and sold. He talked to jake at FC before I sold it too him. He knew what he was buying.

Oh wow, two sides to every story for sure!

OP, you’re a fucking bozo. ?

You just lost all credibility in this case by lying in your original post. Not to mention it’s 4 months after you have purchased and ridden on them. Who knows what the hell you did to the stuff in the mean time.

This just happened to me as a seller on eBay. A guy started a claim for something he bought months ago. PayPal took money from my account as soon as the claim was filed, but thankfully after a phone call to them they gave me my money back. It is almost more dangerous as a seller than a buyer these days. One reason to not use PayPal F&F, and make sure you can attach shipping info if you are the seller.

Without seeing the original posting, it's hard to know how they were represented to the buyer, but my gut feeling is to side with the seller in this instance because the buyer spoke with the guy at FC

Here’s his listing on here from December. Lots of pics showing the condition of the parts.

Im not a clown cody you scammed me and you know it. You’re right i did call before i bought your stuff and it was supposed to be in good working condition. I put it on my bike regardless because you didnt answer me after i messaged you in January. One hour of run time on the forks and the are leaking because the lower tubes have scratches and gouges. Call factory connection in PA and ask them what they told me today about the forks and the shock. Whatever clamps you sold me cant be used they dont fit. You have the same pictures of suspension for sale of what you supposedly sold me. Today isnt the first day i tryed to contact you. Today is the first day you answered me because i posted this about you. i knew the stuff was used and there was chips in the uppers but in NONE of the pictures you just showed everyone does it show these scratches. Oh and your instagram went private today dude how do you think i took that screen shot and now you are private after my posts.

Dude grow up. You talked to factory connection and knew what you were getting and sent pics and invoices . Get a life I’m not fighting with you on a internet fourm like a 15 year old. I made my insta public so everyone can go login and check it out since it’s such a big deal to you. I know how it went down. fuck you for trying to blow me out on here 4 months down the road. I got plenty of friends in the industry. ?? Btw I’ve sold a ton of used parts on here and never once had an issue with anyone but you. Go look at my post history

Anybody care to share their popcorn?
Sure just reach over and grab from the bucket on my lap. FYI there's a good sized hole in the bottom of the bucket

You can tell the forks looks pretty whooped from the original photos.

He don't live there, so I'd love to see them get there.

If there was no bubble wrap or protection around the forks in the box that they were packed in, then the damage to the lower sliders probably happened during shipping from them banging against each other.
