Not one to beat a dead horse here with the “what’s with Tomac” threads, but seriously what was that? He practically gave up during that first main, Marv caught and passed him twice after going off the track

literally LET him by TWICE.... and the 2nd time was at the fucking finish line. Theres no other way about it, he LET him by.... he let off before the finish when he absolutely knew musquin was right there.... musq gained almost 6 seconds on tomac in less than two laps.... total joke

As soon as one person passes tomac, catches him, or pressures him he just falls to pieces and drops his anchor

if you watch the finish again he def hit neutral. bottom line his race craft in SX isn't there right now. he can't setup a pass when he obviously has pace, he's following guys for the most part. he just can't or won't force a pass. no will in his racing right now.

He’s already signed a deal for next year. Doesn’t want to push for no reason in a championship he doesn’t have a chance to win anymore unless it goes crazy for #2. He’s just fulfilling sponsorship obligations and waiting to try and win a 3rd outdoor title. IMO he’s on a Honda for 2020. Cianciarulo slides up and Savatgy stays at Kawi til Forkner is ready. All Speculation.

He drops anchor 5-10 mins into every race. Wondering if theres an injury or fitness issue.

Its hard to say its mental when hes performed like he has in 17 & 18 but sucks after the back injury. IMO his entire season and training was trashed because of not riding in december.

He literally... purposely... just LET OFF AND ROLLED THE FINISH LINE! He knew Marvin was right there and charging, yet lets off... and ROLLS the finish? That was on purpose, what in the hell was that? He literally “Let Tomac Bye”. Dufuq was that isht. This guy is a nutcase.

->> Everyone saying hes trying to ride smart or whatever... theres no excuse to be in front of Marvin, chop the throttle closed, and ROLL the finish line double... That was STUPID. He just GAVE UP a position for no friggin reason.

Definitely has no will....You're right. Will not force a pass, and does not even put up a fight when someone is pressuring him.... its "ok you can go" ... and then drops an anchor... because in the laps leading up to him getting passed, hes running the same pace as the leaders.... gets pressured or passed ... or makes a mistake? Anchor comes out, and all of a sudden his laps times are 1 - 2 seconds slower

I like Eli on Kawi, but whatever it takes for him to get his shit together, I’m all for it. The races are more exciting when he’s in the mix. This year has been extremely odd.

But the problem is he has no chance to win the championship BECAUSE he doesn't/hasn't/won't push...

IF he didnt go into bitch mode 8- 10 minutes into every race, and went into "beast mode" instead, he might be in contention for the title..... but looks like its going to be bitch mode for the rest of the season boys....

probably a good thing herlings wont be here for AMA because the eli tomac from last year is missing, and probably wont be found any time soon.

im not convinced. if he didn't care if musquin got by he wouldn't of taken the defensive line he used that he hadn't used all race.

still think he hit neutral. explains why he chopped the throttle.

we'll probably not find out if anything is going on with him until after SX or maybe not til after outdoors. could be health (doubt it), could be the bike (he seems to be riding super tight,no flow) , could be bad team relations ( my pick) could be nothing,or a combo of multiple.

Kenny loves the Suzuki, Tomac rides like a god on Honda... it has to happen. Kennys career has been a disaster on the Honda -remember even at MEC (his 3rd time on the bike) he went *1, ejection seat while leading, *1. He would have won the million. Then 3 races later ejection seat #2 straight into compartment syndrome, career on hold for the next 1.5 years. Then FINALLY comes back and his one good arm gets wood chippered by a yamaha.

JGR has to make the worst personnel moves of all time for a factory team. We have 15 top 5 capable riders in the class right now, yet JGR signs two 10-15 place guys. Even on the 250s they bombed. Im from Boston so Im obviously a Decotis fan, but come on hes up against AC92 and AF24... JGR needs to pull the trigger and sign KROC... period. Throw a mound of money at him, but they gotta quit screwin around. Those bikes can rip holeshots too just the thing he needs, look at Webb, holeshots up your chances ten fold.

You can't be fired from a team for mediocre finishes. You can't be fired from a team for shitty finishes. You can't be fired from a team at all really, unless a breach of contract, aka something real real bad.

That wasn’t the Tomac we know out there getting passed like that and no drive or fight in him. So
He’s either injured or the bike is shit or there is drama back at the rig. Just don’t know but something is off for sure. There’s no doubt anymore. We will see second moto though. Maybe something was going on that first moto we don’t know about like a stuck gear or something.
