How many users posted twice in the thread not knowing they posted twice ? And how many of those stories dont match up from their first post? I’ll wait.

I always wonder when i see an older thread that had a lot of posters like this one , and i haven't seen some of the name's post in years , what happened to the people?
Did they just lose interest, or die or what

Grew up in northern Maine - potato country. Got the nickname Spud....so there you go. In hindsight I'd rather be Holy Diver because of my love for all things Dio. Been here since the Fresh Dirt days btw...

I got mine from my hometowns local donut shop that everyone seems to be obsessed with. I don’t really know why I picked it just thought it was kind of silly..... and I live right smack dab in the middle of the farm lands on WA

I found my post from 2014... page three... funny reading old threads like this. My story is still the same it’s my Hotmail from when I signed up for it like 20 years ago. I wanted just my initials but it was taken, tried bvm1 it was taken and ended up with bvm111.

Northern Maine is potato country? Damn, I guess I learned more than just the origins of user names in this thread.

(No sarcasm, I really had no idea about that)

I thought the same thing, Sully. I know Idaho is potato country, but northern Maine? Who knew!

Mine came from having my elbows up to high. I was about 13 and had just started racing. A fast Pro rider told me I needed to have my elbows up. I guess I got a little carried away with it. My riding buddies started calling me elbows after that!

Chopper is the nickname I was given at 2 years old and all of my friends and family have called me by that name since. 731 is my race number.

Used to drink a lot of Everclear in the 90's when I was touring. And since I usually come up 2' short on every jump no matter what size (still do), it seemed to fit back then..
