Freak accidents where you're not sure what went wrong, causing injuries like that, really scare you. (Chadapault for example).
But seeing exactly how it happened and why, and realising it was just an unfortunate series of events, leaves you frustrated, not scared. (At least that's how I look at crashes from my experiences.) Chad lost traction and got a bit loose and cased the next jump heavily before it all went sideways. If he had have done that on just about any other lap, where there wasn't bikes everywhere, besides obviously losing time, he would have been completely fine.
I believe that is/will be the key difference here and why we will see him lining up next season. The question for me now is after this incident, is 2020 still a farewell tour, or 2019 take 2?
So she's definitely on board. Amazingly. As is the stat that Chad Reed had more consecutive races than everyone else and by a considerable amount too.
He’s had many injury’s in the past and crashes that have cost him a championship. But this hurts as a fan as that crash.... could be the very last time we seen reed line up in supercross.
I don’t know how I would feel seeing A1 in 2020 and not see the number 22 on the gates, or not hearing the crowed cheer for reed.
Pit Row
watching the video and I can't for the life of me understand why Brayton shot into orbit like he did?
edit:
now I see it, he was sent into space by the rear end of Breece's bike... wow!
