AP's injury will likely sideline him for the start of the outdoors. I'd be surprised if he makes the gate for Hangtown.

Wonder if Grant signed for the whole outdoors or just the races AP will miss.

Did Grant back out of the MotoConcepts Honda deal then?

Per Pulp, Tony wanted Grant, others didn't.....he didn't specify who the others may be though.

Very likely reason behind it with Mike...

Josh Grant...has he grown up yet? 30 something dirty Rider with a brat mentality I'm guessing. Give someone else a ride.

I'm sure this has to do with having 2 riders under the tent. But man JG33 and Marty D are 2 guys that keep popping up every year.

How do you figure? When he was with Two Two Motorsports my wife waited in line for 2 hours in line for Chad's autograph. Josh was super nice and personable. Chad acted like he could have cared less if you were there or not.

Who is a free agent right now , that's faster then him and will get better results? Unlike some guy's in here , I'm glad to see him back. Love watching the guy ride.

I like Grant, Glad to see him back out there. He's made some questionable moves on the race track but IMO has grown up and is a super nice dude. Good for him.

I'll bet he isn't. I'll bet he'll be non weight bearing for a couple months. I'm thinking he will miss Hangtown at least.

Since the days of Josh Hansen vs. Josh Grant..not the vibe I personally appreciate. When he almost killed RV, I lost all interest in him.

Dean Ferris mentioned he's doing the next three MXGP races...I'm still betting he riders MXGP for a bit then comes over for a full USA outdoor run. His latest comments on IG state he still is planning on doing the whole US National series.

He is Fast but he doesn't seem to get consistent good results, it seems he comes back gets 1 or 2 pretty good results than fades, i dont know who is available but id rather see it given to someone trying to come up that is a privateer that is still improving.
Rather than someone at the end of their career.
I know they want to be sure the bike gets in the main but wouldn't yall guess that a factory bike would help just about anyone improve/get better by a few positions?

It was windy AF out here yesterday. Jerry Robin, Martin Castelo, and Cole Martinez made maybe 10 laps combined on the Milestone SX track. Not the best conditions to be tring to shake down a new factory ride on a SX track. GH is his home track that he’s uber comfortable on is my guess.

I will never forget his ride at Red Bud in .... ‘07? ‘08? So I don’t remember the YEAR, but it was one of the most phenomenal performances I’ve ever seen.

Literally one of the most consistent riders over his career when on the track.
244 total professional starts - average finish 9.4 including any DNF's.
Oh but 450 class is what you meant. In 160 total 450 start, 9.4 average finish.
2018 450 SX was 9-9-6-10-10-11 on the races he did in the beginning of the year.
2017 SX 9-11-6-12-14-9-11-8-13-8-5-5-7-3 plus podiumed Hangtown.

Main point, Grant is a great 2nd factory rider and a perfect fill in rider. Like a relief pitcher if you think about it. He's a career top 10 overall rider.

JG33 is a quality fill-in, he just needs to roll it steady in SX and then let 'er rip in the outdoors. Plus, who doesn't miss the JG whips and style!?!
