Hooligan race sucked. TT races are awesome. Those guys are going for it. Going up on the bank from dirt to pavement WFO and braking into dirt on flat track tires. Good grief.

What is the different between these Flat Track TT races and a supermoto race? Seems very similar to me.

That's the first TT to use pavement and dirt, they are always on just dirt. The series is split between ovals and TT races.

Wardy was fast, and definitely should’ve put it in the main. Not sure what happened in his Semi... just didn’t make it through the first turn very well, and that was it.

Supermoto is all 450s. These are split singles and twins. The singles are similar; different sized wheels compared to supermoto (19s). Twins are a whole other ball game; heavy, gnarly to ride.

Daytona is an exception with the pavement. All the other races are “dirt” only, though conditions can mimic hard packed dirt that is slick as shit.

Ward needs more "race" time . Practicing is not racing. Singles is a tough crowd. He'll be lucky to make a main in AFT this year.

As a retired AMA flat tracker, That was the first time in years I was ready to peel the steel show out of the closet. That was the best damn idea the AMA has had for flat track at bike week in ever. way better than the bogus short track at the old municipal stadium.

The real struggle is going to be places like Atlanta next weekend. No carnival track there, friends. It is a "short track". More like just short of a half mile. He is doing the short tracks, right?.
