Highly unlikely but mathematically possible. Although I doubt even Bubba at his prime could reel off 7 in a row

Tomac and Webb going 1-2 for the remaining races is unlikely. Though I will say that Webb doesn’t have this thing locked either. I picture him having an “off weekend” at some point, same with Tomac. All it takes is for Cooper Webb to have one bad race and we have a close 4 way battle for the points lead again.

As cliche as it sounds, with the way everyone is riding, anything can happen.

The problem is the other guys keep choking and cant make a pass on webb. Yes, eli is really the only one to beat webb.

Chances eli wins the title are slim unless two things happen..he quits getting 6th place results and he needs more guys to beat webb.

Webb hasnt finished worse than 2nd in like the last 5 or 6 races. Last week marv and blake both were fast enough to beat webb but couldnt pass him. Same could be said for tonight. Webb pulls a hail mary and beats rozcen at the line, webb beats marv at like round 3 or 4 after marv goes down and reels him back in. Webb has been good enough and the other guys keep makjng mistakes. 90% sure this one is over.

Nah. It just doesn't work like that, not this year. Musquin showed today what he's willing to do with his riding for the rest of the season and Roczen has to do the same. Webb like Anderson last year will likely ride in protection mode if he's a huge margin. And with Tomac we never know, if he's comfy and confident then there's no protection mode for Webb. At the end, odds are that all of them might have issues in any of the last 7 races. There's still no crown.

Fun fact: Roczen and Tomac have been Reeded so Musquin and Webb are due.

Tomac’s biggest problem is that no one else can beat Webb.
Webb’s championship strategy from here on is:
1. Capitalise on the nights when Tomac starts 15th (He will at some point)
2. Finish just behind him on the nights Tomac can’t be stopped

Tomac will just be hoping that Webb has some form of bad luck over the next 7 races. He’s due and definitely had a few close calls tonight.
He needs to start well and can’t afford to bleed anymore points.

Indi didn’t go well for Tomac last year. Musquin would be motivated after winning it last year.

After the race I said the exact thing to my son about getting Reeded. Remember when Dungey got Reeded a few years ago?
