Sounds like it's similar to Millvile FOD which I love because it's also a fast track and flows well. Good info, thanks.

Just go there with the mindset of sitting in a shit load of traffic if you are coming from the north and enjoy riding a non passable track on which a third of the jumps are actually in jumpable shape

I drive 5 hours to get there so I'd be pissed if it wasn't at the very least decent. You guys should try Englishtown that place is chopped up and rutted by 2pm. Not to mention you can only ride 15 mins every hour.

Budds is the closest track to dc and I go there quite often. Good thing is if you tell Beasley that the track is crappy he will usually got out and grade and/or water it.

Everytime I went this summer he was moving mud off the track due to all the damn rain, but still made the track fun. It has also gotten more sandy over the past few years on the back section.

Breezewood tills the track a few times a day but only touches jump faces once a week or so and they get really hard packed because of quads.

Millville has by far the best and most consistent prep in my opinion, but you are gonna have some fast guys flying by you on wednesdays. The vet track can be pretty fun as well. Good chance of seeing a local pro or two. Last time I was there AJ Catanzaro was doing a MX school on one of Chad Reeds old MXoN bikes haha.

Tomahawk is the best track around. Breezewood pretty damn close second. The rest all have massive drawbacks most of which pointed out in here.

Etown blows. Sitting around way more than u ride. Ive been there for 5 or 6 hours and barely able to put 1hr ride time on the meter due to the length of time between ur sessions. F that.

Budds' is decent, but I think it's quality is relative to how far away you live. For me it's awesome for a 20 min drive, but not sure if it's worth a five or six hour drive. The trails were re-opened recently too, not sure if they still are though.

Wicomico is like a recreational type riding place, not a race track. Usually lots of quads, so expect the "tracks" to reflect that type of use. There's a little pee wee track for beginners, like PW50 beginners Trails are nice, wide enough for a side-by-side, but still fun on a bike. Trails are one-way.

I can't rember ever complaining after riding eithet place. Also, budds' states on their website that they dont water or prep the track for rentals, so atleast they are up front about it.

IF you want sketchy go to breezwood. Always love having atvs coming at you, there is nothing splitting the lanes of the tracks.

Tomahawk during spring yes great prep

Etown is top of the 3 you mentioned for me. If you push for the 15-20m session x4-5 of those is enough in a day for me.

Last year i went and none of the sessions were 20 minutes long. More like 10-12 minutes and then over an hr of waiting. The waiting killed it for me. And they rarely even prep almost never disced up.

Its the closest for me so id love for them to get it together but im more often then not diappointed when i go there.

Breezewood is one of my favorite places to ride. Lately there doesn’t seem to be as many quads most days either. But I’ve made the mistake of showing up there right before a quad and 3 wheeler race and it was a shit show.

Never been to E town.

I like Tomahawk very much, and Chad (owner) is SO nice. Its only 35min from me which is cool too. I want to do Budds, but its a hike, and the reviews on here are not helping me want to go! That said, I hope to catch a good weekend or two this spring when he has good prep. Who knows how long it will be around... its quite a rare gem being its so close to DC and all that comes with that...

I've been there in July and it was awesome but also 95° which isn't my favorite temp to ride. The 5 times I went there this year was always during the week because that's when the weather was best and the track was fine. Yes he doesn't do the whole width of the track but it's so wide to begin with it really didn't matter to me.

Idk if anyone here was racing in the 90's but for like three years straight the Saturday before the nationals was a quagmire. So the next year Johnathan sent out a mailer giving us a free race to make up for it. Never had a track owner do that before or since then. I also watched him give $10 off to a few guys that were military. So anyone who's a cop, fireman, or military should expect a $10 discount.

Again he's not perfect but who is? I think if you went to Etown then you would know what real abuse is.

Went there today. The track was super narrow. Almost every jump face had a massive kicker at the top, bumps everywhere, deep ruts, slick mud spots, etc.

Still had a great time.

He’s got a lot of work to do before Friday practice.

Buddies went there today said track was goat trail but pretty good. They are open everyday but he will probably groom it Thursday evening since out of towners are coming but will spend majority of time collecting money from gate and rv parking.

Yup. After I saw him get the big step up after the start clean I started doing it. Most of the jumps at the bottom of the track were in bad shape. But the top half was nice.
Watching a vid from the guy that was with him that he just sent over. Some part look ok. Lol.

Seaford and snake creek in Delaware were really good tracks but they closed down unfortunately. The landing mx in Easton md is fun too. Only open on Sunday tho

He’s been scraping the mud off the track all winter so people can still ride. It’s like that everywhere and it’s also affecting drainage in plenty of spots.

All this bitching and complaining about non perfect conditions. I used to feel the same way 10 years ago when there were actual choices. You'll miss Budds when it's gone... Just like bdmx, snake Creek, speed Citi, and the OLD landing back when team Honda rode there before the national. We barely have anything left in maryland. They could charge 100 bucks and I'd still have to pay it. There is nothing else unless you know someone who is rich and owns property and heavy equipment
