If you are taking the complete front end, clamps, axle, spacers included, it will be a direct swap. If not, it will still work but you gotta address some spacing and alignment stuff. Also, Recall the 05 aoss have 4-5mm of slop in the forks, and also ... more »

Still Looking...

I kinda went through this. I have a 2005 YZ250, and added 08+ forks (Showa A kit, not KYB SSS- but lugs are same overall spec) and tried an 06 axle and was not happy with the fit, so purchased new 08 OEM axle/spacers/nut and everything fits as it should. ... more »

Thanks for reply and email. Do you know if RT come with/require the adapter collar? Just want to order once...

I am leaning towards a Race Tech. Is that good bet, or is there a better brand? Also, do new springs come with the bottom adapter collar?

Thanks for all who posted. Had a moment to get in the shop to take a closer look. I’m 99% it’s an eibach. I bought it a while back and was using a higher rate and this one sat on the shelf for quite a while. Anyway, looking closer, a few issues with

Great insight. The spring indeed only goes on one way and was proper... almost like the spring was “bending” as it collapsed if that makes any sense.

Had a chance to get out and ride after a long hiatus fighting a shoulder injury, and was bummed to see the Pro Action (eibach???) spring I used rubbed the piss out of the body. I upgraded suspension on my 05 yz to newer style stuff, and this body was

When you get a second, can you pm or text me a price if you’d be willing to sell that one. Maybe a 2nd shot to bore it... lol. Getting ready for third time being the charm!

Long shot....Looking for a clamp. Building a 2nd set of PC forks, and then a 125 to match my 250. Need a YTC10450 stamped A Kit to get things going. I have a normal pc clamp that overbored a bit too much and can sleeve it, but would prefer the proper
