Impressive as hell, pretty much the only thing in the races that kept me excited was Reed.

Technical track and big whoops, plus some decent starts. I think he could have just about podiumed all three with starts, his speed was as good as any except maybe Eli.

Surely if he wants to race again next year, JGR will happily give him another ride. The crowd fucking loves Reed.

Did you see the footage of the crowd in the stadium chanting his name when he was walking out after it all ended? I have never seen that before....for anybody!!! Amazing!!

I feel bad for the people that hate him because the dude is a fucking legend and they are missing out. There’s really nothing else to say about him.

Glad JGR are getting good coverage. Albrecht is a cool dude.
I imagine a podium gets Chad a decent bonus.

If Chad never wins another moto...THAT is worth every Penney that JGR pays for him, and it’s worth whatever Suzuki sinks into JGR as well. I could never understand why a top tier team wouldn’t want to jump at the opportunity to sign a Chad Reed, a James Stewart or any other top rider, who might be in the ebb of their careers but who has a fan base to the freaking moon & back. Marketing is everything. Sponsors like to invest where the excitement is!

I’d say chad cleaned up on it too.. I imagine with the Suzuki budget he has a low salary with huge incentives

He is definitely the last minute now flagship rider for JGR. imagine their results without him.

In the interview with Gibby he "hinted" about the next phase of his life/career. He didn't say what it was but sounded like NC was going to be his new home base whether it was SX or the new endeavor.

He should like this format. Unlikely he can get a podium otherwise, but 3 5ths or whatever can het it done.

More pointless predicting. Why?

gotta say he rode well, glad the series isn't always this format or I may be paying out that case of beer by season's end.

Was, and not sure they meant Road bike. Guessing it would have been dirt track as kids or moto. They grew up in the same area.

That was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. The guy has earned the hell out of that though, and everyone in the crowd knows it. I laugh when guys claim 90% of the crowd doesn’t know any of the riders or other bs like that, 10% of the crowd is not making the explosion of noise you can hear every time he passes someone or starts near the front. It’s going to be a sad day when he calls it quits, I don’t know that we’ll ever see another like him or the same amount of fan support he has.

Not taking anything away from Reed or jgr, so dont twist it that way, but how pissed would mcr be that they got second on the first race and they didnt and interview on tv? That's a lot of exposure to miss out on

I noticed few different things this week with reed

1. He’s running the normal style of Scott goggles instead of prospects.
2. His upper engine mounts looked more like stock ones instead of the different shaped ones been using.

He said he made changes this week well that’s two haha, wonder how much the mounts really do for a normal human, been thinking about trying them on my rmz

Never, ever, count Chad “out”.

When he’s done, he’ll let you know.
