Tyler - “AMA needs to hold riders accountable for their actions or it will turn into the Wild West”

AMA - *Disqualifies Tyler for blasting into the side of Barcia knocking the bike literally out from under him

Tyler - “omg this is unfair”

TB is the Kanye West of Moto
Then he tried to use the Oldenburg incident and ask why nothing happened to him. Uhh.....because Oldenburg accidentally over jumped. He was not going for a kill shot.

So I read thru Bower’s Instagram post. Is it really possible to be hit hard enough to put a hole in the swingarm?

I believe that was a Dungey/Stew reference.

The point was he pulled a squirrel dick move and is now trying to play the leader of “fair”...”safe”... “justifyable” racing. He knows damn well he did a stupid move and is now back pedaling to justify it.

No he’s calling out the inconsistent decisions that have been made by one individual...like I said above his move was wrong but the point he is making is spot on...Gallagher is horrible at what he does and let’s his emotions get in the way of proper decisions....almost Whitlock like...for all you old schoolers that remember what a dick Whitlock was...

So pull this stunt then call the inconsistent card? Ya maybe he’s right? But playing the innocent hero by calling this out afterwards is absurd to me.

Well hell. Bowers just wet the bed a second time. Does anyone manage him?
His wife tries to manage others that talk bad about him, does that count? When your dad encourages you to beat others even after they are "done", pretty sure no one is going to "manage' you.

Why do people still call this a PASS. It was a blatant take out move. It was never intended to be a pass. There is no room for this childish shit in a pro sport.

Wahhhhhh. I want the 2 minutes of my life back it took me to read that. I've heard him say more times than I care to remember "I'm 200#'s". Who gives a shit? He thinks he's some sort of a badass ass. Truth is, he's always smashed fools like that circus show demolition derby arenacross and he's irrelevant. Loves to hear himself talk.

Alright geniuses. Serious question here: why wasn’t there two DQ’s ? (The other being a Yamaha?)

Yes. I had an 81 CR125R and got hit by an out of control open class guy coming into a turn after a fast straight in a woods race.

I had a hole that looked like an axle bolt head in my swing arm. Neither of us fell.

He brings up a valid point about Gallagher who has in the past made poor emotional decisions...as an official your job requires you to be unbiased and fair...his history of inconsistent off the cuff emotional decisions and just total lack of professionalism is why a competition committee is needed and decisions need to be made after that committee renders a decision after discussion and a vote. Sometimes the decision doesn’t get made for as few days...supposedly they had gone somewhat in that direction to keep Gallagher from making everyone look stupid...well he’s back.
And just in case you were wondering I feel what Bowers did was out of line, not worthy of a DQ but possibly a fine/penalty.
Don’t get lost in his actions and miss the message...
This!!! One person should not be making decisions in the heat of the moment!

I agree with this. It seems like very inconsistent decision making. I am certain it is not an easy job, and probably many things are not noticed but my personal opinion would be the guy (I think his name was Shaw) in the first 250 East LCQ getting run over by 2 other bikes is worse then this. Nothing happened there, nothing should have happened here. If that was just racing, then this was just racing.

So everything he said on pulp before this incident is irrelevant? He does a dipshit move and claims inconsistencies in Jon after the fact is ok?

Remember that they pumped up the bowers and Webb rivalry in the 250’s and bowers was talking smack saying he’d man handle Webb, then Webb totally embarrassed him for the rest of the season. Yeah bowers is a peanut.

Too many people are blinded by their dislike of Bowers and not seeing/understanding the true issue...Gallagher has had a history of poor decisions, biased and emotional/angry behavior that should not be a part of what an official does. In the past he had too much singular power...just ask Reed what he thinks...It’s time to have a committee/council to make these calls and they as a group decide the fate/penalties...pretty simple.

All these people attacking bowers on this deal is crazy to me. It’s like he actually smashed into them the way they act. Bowers is a tool, barcia is a tool. Calm down people. This is what happens sometimes in racing. Most of you getting outraged should try it. Gives a little better perspective

No don we see the issue with Jon.... and it may be inconsistent. But should all pros t bone the shit out of everyone? Especially 5 days literally after saying they are trying to make racing a safer sport? He is completely out of line from the bowers I heard on Monday. I think blaming Jon is ridiculous and bowers the badass knows he fucked up.

I don’t think many will argue that. There should be a group of people who can make good, sound and fast decisions in these situations. It’s kind of a separate issue though. Bowers is essentially piggy backing off of the powers to be to take pressure off of himself and his dumb decision. What he did was premeditated. Bowers was waiting for that perfect moment to get even with Barcia. We don’t need that stuff in our sport.

Because the idiot on the green bike intentionally tried to injure a rider and the guy on the blue bike accidentally over jumped and hit someone. DERP....

I agree with his post.

I don't think you see a factory rider DQ'd if the roles are reversed. There are clear inconsistencies with how riders are treated and incidents handled. The AMA and FIM doesn't give a shit if privateers get punted. Another body will take their place on the line and the circus rolls on.
