This game sucks. This post is for anybody on the fence about spending $80 on it. Corners are super laggy like there’s a hesitation when turning. And jumping is like jumping a car in car racing game. Granted having the updated tuff blocks and graphics are nice, but the gameplay sucks. The animated scrubs really suck now. Should’ve listened to the YouTube reviews about corners or rider input being slow and Milestone pumping out a game just to probably satisfy a contract with Monster Energy. And before anybody says anything, I’ve tried semi-auto and manual physics or rider balance etc and I’ve also compared career mode and the pro riders. Even my 9yr old within a few seconds could tell the physics suck. I just played SX1 again and it’s so much better. Thank God for track editor. Hopefully 20 patches later they’ll get SX1 physics in SX2.

Someone may have answered this but I can be bothered going through 20 pages, why isn’t Ken Roczen in this game?

I think the cornering is brilliant. You have to brake, to use throttle control, shift properly and distribute your weight and yes you actually have to slow down to turn. This is not the roller coaster rail turning around the mile wide berm. I think it feels very realistic for a simcade experience.

You obviously went in with a certain expectation on how it should feel and just because it doesn't feel that way it "sucks". Give it time. To me, it's as close to sim but still with a fun factor. You actually have to use throttle and breaks to control the bike. It has weight to it which is the slow feeling you have. Give it time and slow down to go fast

I did 20 straight laps in Arlington and I can see what you’re saying. But different strokes for different folks and I’m not like the left wing crowd where if I don’t like it nobody should. Just for people like me who thought the same physics were gonna carry over to a fresh looking game won’t be disappointed. I mean perfect example is Reflex.

I like the game but I hope they do a patch for the training to allow us to just do it and just get it done with. It seems like it’s going to take forever to get them done as is.

Really use that rear brake entering corners. In this game, I seem to steer with the rear of the motorcycle, and it actually made the game more fun.

Could be the physics setup??? I run advanced physics with no rider aides other than semi-trans and I routinely get thrown from the bike when I case the big triple or if I try to send it in a rhythm section and case my landing. I was in a total mudder last night and the last 3 laps I just double everything cus I was losing too much time crashing when coming up short.
You can’t play this game on semi trans. It’s impossible.
Manual transmission is critical.
Change buttons to right/left stock for up/down

I like the game, but for the love of God....they destroyed scrubs. They’re horrible now and just plain sketchy, I don’t even use em anymore.

Can anyone tell me. if I purchase the season pass for Xbox one, does it come with the credit multiplier? Does it unlock all the gear and parts or just some? It is not clear on the description. I have never purchased a season pass for any game, so a little confused! Thank you in advance!!

I love that section! Never had a section dialed like I have that one dialed. I even turned my fastest laps there a few weeks ago after not playing for a few months

If you like arcade unrealistic mx games this game isn’t for you. I personally love the fact you have to slow down for corners and time rythem sections in this game. I like the simulator aspect. Happy with the game

I bought it on my nintendo switch. I must say that im enjoying everybit of this game on my switch. I only use it in handheld mode so there js that, but its beautiful and plays solid on the switch with the full 12 riders on the gate.

I might get it on PC as well but havent decided yet.

If you have any questions about the nintendo switch version, let me know

The credit multiplier will just give you more credits allowing you to unlock gear and equipment quicker. It’s still gonna take awhile to unlock everything. . It does give you some gear but I think it’s mostly just some different colors of camo gear.

Agreed. I really think Milestone really did amp up the sim in simcade in this title. I, overall, preferred MESX1 to the competition but 2 is a huge step forward as far as making it as simulation as possible while still being accessible and fun.

MESX2 is easily my favorite MX/SX game ever and surpassing 1 by a great margin. Major props to the developers for doing a ton of work in a less than 1 year cycle.

I know most of you play career but I just pick a real rider and play championship mode, role playing as that rider like I would in other sports games. There are no unlockables. Everything is maxxed out. Tuned to the absolute most sim settings, I find the physics to be excellent and extremely realistic.

I also play The Real Thing so get real time qualifying, heats, lcqs and ful 20 minute +1 Mains. I usually only get a race or two at a time but I like doing it this way.

The game is about timing, throttle control, cornering, braking and hitting your marks. The game is about Supercross racing. And the rider's looseness and movement on the bike is like night and day from 1.

So good.

And in addition to mailing the gameplay it also has the full authentic experience which I am still surprised someone finally did after all these years. They even tweaked the camera to allow more zoom which was an issue I had with 1.

I could play this game for years. Now if they'd only do an AMA Outdoor game.

Really happy. Smile

Imagine sensors on a rider and the bike to model perfectly the riding as 2k does for Basketball.

Imagine a career mode where you get your first bike under the Christmas tree and where you should start with a 60cc.

Imagine create your team, team manager, sponsors, custom graphics, trucks ect.

Imagine a fitness mode to develop your rider.

Imagine a legend mode.

Imagine a Vital MX championship with all of these upgrade . That would be crazy.

Well I have about 2 hours of gameplay so far and at first I was like “what the hell did they do to this game!?” But as you keep playing it gets better and better...I haven’t bothered with the training/career mode yet cause I want to play the game maxed out right away so I just use a factory rider..the scrubs took a huge step backwards compared to the first one but not a huge deal to me...what I love the most is the load times are much quicker and the online play is WAY better...I had a blast doing a few races online last night...tough blocks are no longer and issue which is awesome..It definitely has a simulator feel more than an arcade feel...Give the game some time and I think everyone will enjoy it!

How do you get to the corn field track in the compound? It has a wall around it. I have purchased the season pass thought that may do it but still can’t access it.

I think you have to do some of the training sessions in the career mode to unlock some of the compound tracks.

Everything you need to know about Monster Energy Supercross 2.

https://youtu.be/jebUSSgFbFw
The bike floats. When you land off a jump it looks the same as if you had just went over a big roller. They gotta make it look like how mx sim rides but not so hard. Thats the gold standard imagine that gameplay with the hreat grapgics. That game is too hard so theres gotta be a way to make the suspension and weight of the bikes the same but easier to play. Basically ehen you look at it it has the realistic movements but the computer helps do its not sooo hard to do.
