300. I just pulled the cylinder and installed 1.25mm worth of base gaskets and had rkt make a custom head for it to work with the raised cylinder. Also installed sx cdi. I love the bike and it runs amazing even with the mikuni carb.

not to sidetrack the origin post, i have seen several issues with the tpi bikes, is there reasoning behind the issues, what causes it all, and are you nervous about yours, is there certain things you have to take precaution of when washing or riding the bike in order for it to perform?

This is my first fuel injected bike. I waited until the second model year because I was a little leery as well.

About all the riding I've done was in the parking lot to break it in a little bit before changing out the ECU and installing a GET relocation kit for the injectors.

Time will tell but, fuel injection has been around for a while now...i don't see any issues with this that I wouldn't expect on a 4 stroke model as well.

As far as precautions...outside of making sure to use a little dialectic lube in the electrical connections & not spraying any soaps or solvents on the electrical components when I power wash it I'll treat it the same way as my 2013 XC.

I purpose built this bike for a private riding park that I ride at 99% of the time. I'll still keep my XC for riding in more extreme terrain such as Chadwick and Coloradao for a couple years because that's what I set it up for at the end of last summer.

KTM has been testing this technology for a long time before they released it. I'm confident it will work as well as any of the other fuel injected dirt bikes. If not, I'll go back to a carbureted model.

My unridden 2017 SXF 350. Literally.... unridden. Hope to change that this summer. Even bought a Motovan.
