About all the riding I've done was in the parking lot to break it in a little bit before changing out the ECU and installing a GET relocation kit for the injectors.
Time will tell but, fuel injection has been around for a while now...i don't see any issues with this that I wouldn't expect on a 4 stroke model as well.
As far as precautions...outside of making sure to use a little dialectic lube in the electrical connections & not spraying any soaps or solvents on the electrical components when I power wash it I'll treat it the same way as my 2013 XC.
I purpose built this bike for a private riding park that I ride at 99% of the time. I'll still keep my XC for riding in more extreme terrain such as Chadwick and Coloradao for a couple years because that's what I set it up for at the end of last summer.
KTM has been testing this technology for a long time before they released it. I'm confident it will work as well as any of the other fuel injected dirt bikes. If not, I'll go back to a carbureted model.
