From TWMX.com:

After hearing rumors that the AMA has again suspended Jason Lawrence, we made a couple phone calls to see if it were true. According to Boost Mobile/ampm/Monster Energy/Troy Racing Team Manager Chris McAvoy, the AMA has indeed issued a one-race suspension to Lawrence for his actions at the Jacksonville Supercross for his actions against Team Yamaha’s Broc Hepler in the main event.

“Obviously, Jason is super bummed,” said McAvoy. “He knows that he messed up, but we all feel that the penalties handed down by the AMA are a little on the extreme side.”

Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available, likely in the form of a press release from AMA Pro Racing.
...in your opinion.

Have you seen all the same video that the AMA and FIM has? Were you at the race?

Seriously, sometimes you could think and read more, and post less.

In my opinion, GoRide2 is part of the problem. And so is everyone who is a part of his life long defense team. You make it OK for this guy to screw up time and time again. He is your OJ Simpson, isn't he?

When will you admit he has cross the line and need to be penalized.

Try to read and understand something before responding.

He never said Lawrence was like OJ. He said Lawrence is your OJ, i.e. no matter what the evidence is he will be innocent in your eyes.

What Reed/Stewart incident? They were ticked off with each other and argued a little after the race.

Lawrence on the other hand served up a pretty nasty takeout move that probably would not have resulted in a penalty. From all accounts I have read it was likely Lawrence's actions after the takeout where he waited for Hepler to come back around and tried to jack with him again that brought on the suspension. It he would have let it go he would probably be racing this weekend but he couldn't and now he will sit.

Hepler should have just rode away with that slick factory Yamaha of his.

JLaw seems to be a bit of a hothead and those kind of people will always be close to the fire. My one interaction with JLaw proved to me he is faster than fast but as immature as a 6 year old. Sad really when you see talent go to waste, but that is life and only one person can change it.

SX is show more than sport. It does not make a lot of economic sence to pull one of the top draws in your show so close to the finale.

Can't shake that 1...!
For McAvoy & Co., bummer for sure,
but from my experience he's lucky
the "AMA" didn't do more instead of less!
Jason may be talked about plenty these days,
hard to avoid that, but lucky he is!
Gotta be really careful with "luck".
Count on it, it's gone!
Abuse it, it's gone!
