Is it 2017 all over again with the "Where's James" crap? Plessinger took his number now, he's definitely retired guys. With that said...

You mean the guy who humiliated an injured Reed? Chad had a bum shoulder injury when that race happened. everyone always leaves out that tidbit. James is a bad dude on a bike, but not lapping a healthy Reed bad.

He’s at home counting his money and enjoying his family and probably helping mookie. Dude raced for like 20 years of his life and left his mark now it’s his little brothers time to be the racer in the stew pit. I bet he’s enjoying the shit out of life rn

Problem is there are a bunch of newbies who think motocross and supercross started 6 or 7 years ago. They don't realize that prior to them coming into our sport, James Stewart did enough winning and competing to eclipse most riders careers. There is a very small list of people who've accomplished more than him in the history of the sport. All done within a hugely racist and mean-spirited environment, especially in the early days.

So James Stewart and his family owes absolutely nothing to anybody, including all the butt-hurts who feel he hasn't said good bye properly. Should he do a round of national stops to say good bye properly to all the people who stood on the side of the track and gave him the finger, called him a ni***er and told him to f**k off on every lap?

"Hugely racist" is a massive overstatement. Everytime James was introduced at a race, people absolutely lose their shit. There was without a doubt, some racist, redneck pieces of crap, but James is one of the most beloved racers out there as a whole. Save that Racist, name calling crap for people that dont know better!

Damn, a whole new level of stupid for Vital right here.

Meanwhile, in the real world, 99.9% of fans (and non fans) would go to bat for him in those situations you described. Always has to be an asshole in the bunch though.

I must be the only one who never missed the guy one bit when he just stopped racing. The last years of his ride were a joke. Then he says he'll be back and leads his fans on. People need to get over him. He's never, ever, ever coming back. He was a great rider though...that's for damn sure.
Agree 100%, the end was just pitiful and hard to watch. Couldn't help but feel sorry for the guy.

"I say old chap...". Paul, you do realize no one from the UK has used that phrase in at least 40 years? I seriously doubt it was ever commonly used in your latest fake city of Vital South Africa. You're trying too hard.

Now bring back Rydered and Onahonda to support your latest fakery.

He's at home, you could go there if you want, might be kind of awkward though. Most likely be told to piss off. Any other questions?

I can't get behind this even though it technically is true.

Doesn't he have any public obligation for his fans, former sponsors, business interests, "or the sport that gave him the space to do what he does and have a career".

I think he will eventually come around.
Literally does not owe anyone anything. All those sponsers would’ve made huge amount of $$$ from him and he literally risked his live day in day out for almost 15 years to entertain us + the sacrifices he would’ve made as a child/teenager.

The dude that started Airtime clothing and later High Roller energy drink was/is a fucken wanker.

I'd wank to that pic though! The chick is decent too.

I heard he is going to fill in for Mookie....

Note: Just fueling the fire, but could you imagine?
I miss him out there but I actually don't want him to come back at this point. I'd rather remember him as the racer he was than to remember him coming back after a 3 year hiatus and not do well.

I mean. Motoheads wont owe him anything when he gets forlorn and wants to come back to the sport eventually.

Two way street.

The only time you'll see him on a bike again outside of his personal ride day dealio is if he does the brand ambassador deal. I don't think Yammie wants him, Kawie doesn't need him and Suzuki probably wouldn't want him. He never rode a Honda from my memory. James is gone. But, we still have a bunch of great riders to watch. The sport didn't die when he left.
