Vital hit the nail the Product of the year with the Alta. But I was wondering what would be the new part from last few years? Like what was the best part or part innovation? What is something that is a must have part for the bike that we didn't have 2 years ago? When the folding levers first came out, they where a must have. Before that was the FatBars. So what is the last "Must Have Part"?

The adjustable ECU through Wi-Fi that the Yamaha has is the next big thing (yeah i know, GET has had this feature for multiple years but we're talking about stock bikes from the showroom floor). It is in my opinion by far the biggest innovation since the EFI. You can basically change completely how the engine and bike behaves within 3 minutes, brilliant stuff.
Air forks are nothing new in motocross, as the 1976 Yamaha’s 35mm Kayaba air forks prove. The most visually unique aspect of the 41-year-old air forks was the air accumulators that replaced the fork caps. The two air canisters resembled the instrument cluster of a street bike, leading to the Kayaba air forks being called “speedo & tach” forks.

As far as the bikes themselves
Imo they have evolved too much.
Kinda like nascar, not that bad yet
But going that direction it seems
