Ouch. Facciotti with a bad crash.

Ejected off the face of the finish line jump, landed pretty much flat on his back on the start straight.
wtf happened there, stream froze long enough to see 45 flying through the air with some help it looked like

Just watched that. Great 450 main. Surprised Thompson didn't go over and see if Facciotti was okay. Come on man.
Yeah I don't get that. Very poor sportsmanship if you asked me. Seemed more concerned about knowing if he finished 1st or 2nd.

That's exactly what happened. Thompson punted him off the track.

That said he does seems genuinely concerned/upset about the whole situation.

He made up for it on the podium. Definitely felt bad about it. Great race and I sure hope Facciotti is okay. They said he walked off. Hopefully not a shoulder injury or something like that.

Would love to see the replay of the finish.

Thompson said he was braking up the face and Colton was going for it. Racing incident that looked like Cole's fault but once we see the replay, that might not be the case.

Glad to hear Facciotti walked off.

Should be a good final round in Ontario.

The good news is that Facciotti eventually got up on his feet and walked away. Hopefully just very sore.

Pretty safe to say that Thompson will be walking away with the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown 100k payout in 2 weeks after the final race.

Don't think we'll be seeing any replays anytime soon. The races aren't archived and I have no idea when the race will air on TV.

I wish we could see a replay, I still don't see how Cole beat out Colton. I'm assuming the pick up point for the transponders was at the base of the jump not the top of it then.

Not the first time Cole has pulled a move exactly like that.

Usually the transponder wire is at the bottom of he jump. That would explain the win by Thompson.

That said it sure didn’t seem intentional on Thompson’s part, went for an aggressive pass for sure but he didn’t expect Facciotti to go for it. He genuinely seemed to feel bad about it on the podium. Probably didn’t go see him to let the medics do their work.

As for Wright, I saw him go down pretty bad in practice, might explain why he didn’t line up for the night show.

Edit: someone posted a video of the crash on fb. I’ll try to see if I can upload it here somehow. I don’t see where Thompson ever had the advantage over facciotti. Seems like they make contact and CF is in a deep rut and he loses his balance. Definitely a racing incident but a bummer nonetheless. Hope he’s ok.

I disagree that it was a racing incident, and many of the people who were there do as well.

I know it’s not a great picture but to me it still looks like Colton had him beat there. Cole’s rear wheel looks like it’s farther back than Colton’s.

At least from that picture it looks like Cole slammed him off the track.

I've seen a couple different videos from people on Instagram from different angles and I still don't see how Cole won, at no point did it look like his bike was ahead of Colton's Honda. There was another video taken from the opposite side of the one GD2 just posted and from that video it looks even more like Colton should have won.

Never understood why so many guys go wide like that for a finish like that. Last lap, last corner, close series, aggressive AX. Hug the inside and roll the jump so there's zero chance someone can even try to get by.

No way someone would rail the outside enough to beat you to the line, but someone can easily dive inside and get the win.

Awful move/choice by someone that has a decent points lead.

His brother is running the series plain and simple same reason they singled out GDR at the riders meeting all to put pressure and a pyshc job on Colton. Nothing like changing the rules 2 races before the end of the series.Only thing worse than the fix being in was the Facebook feed and having to listen to Gauldy talk about himself all night. Stallybrass must be laughing his ass off.

27 seconds is NOT a "Supercross" lap.
It's barely an AX lap.
This kinda bums me out.

Go back to page 1. I explain why they refer to it as SX.

But I agree that it's more AX than SX.

wouldn't be surprised if there is no 100K to pay out and they need little brother to win to save face

I understand that the transponder being buried at the base, but can we please call the top of the jump/checkered flag the official finish line? I'm so sick of these races not coming down to the finish line, but to the base of a jump...
