i still have 30 yr old jerseys with red bud stains in them. it used to be a redish hard pack back in the 80's. like someone pointed out earlier...its changed so much over the years its not so bad now. Mudders there used to be a nightmare. This was probably pre-tiling as i'm guessin most of it tiled correctly these days.

we been getting rain pretty steady for last few days now. starting to get saturated north east of there...not sure how it is down there.

as of right now i've check 3 different weather sites and all of them are different. 1 says rain every day this week thru monday.

Yep it used be that heavy clay mud that was either ice or added a 100lbs to your bike...just look at my profile pic to remember the old Red Bud hardpack days!

Could it be? Would it be? I’m praying no rain. Everyone else do the same in the US please. Weather looking iffy

I just checked Weather.com and it's calling for 60% Fri and Sat, and only %40 on Sun. (forecast will be probably change)This track probably soaks up water pretty well considering they dumped sand on it too (meaning it won't be too muddy). I think we'll get some rain, but depending on how much will determine how much of a mudder it will be.
i'm 3 hours from the track and it's been raining the last 4 days straight, but that doesn't reflect the Niles or Red Bud area!
Bring your umbrella!

Michigan in October was a risk from the get go. The question is whether the fans will be penalized for that risk by having to watch some mud fest crap instead of an actual motocross race. Hopefully we dodge the bullet of that promoter-stupidity-created fiasco.

And the forcast has already changed. Don't stress shit you have no control over. Plan on it being wet, be happy when it isn't.

I usually look at different weather sites until I find one that has a forecast I like.

As of this morning. Hopefully the track crew will be able to prep it all up for Sunday's races.

Just checked wunderground forecast and there's not a single hour this weekend that doesn't show rain. Bring all the rain gear you've got. I needed a reason to buy a new rain suit.

Bought Frog Togs and boots just for this weekend. Hopefully I don't need them.

On a side note, if the track is a mess all weekend, I’m going to be gutted for the GP guys that won’t get to see what Redbud is all about. Quite possibly the greatest dirt in the world, and to miss that experience would be a huge bummer.

Based on everything I'm seeing... My guess is the conditions will be a little wet for the Saturday qualifier, but I honestly think the track will be fine for the big race on Sunday...

equally as important, not looking like there will be any rain Sunday night when the fans of (insert nation here) are in full celebration mode Woohoo Whistling
