Ozark is amazing and I’m about to finish the 2nd season already lol.

MAKE SURE you check out Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Both amazing, epic series. Love them both. Just finished the 3rd season of Saul, have already finished Breaking Bad.

Is Narcos any good?

Also a great series, though I was disappointed after the first season and didn’t find that the rest of the seasons could live up to the first one. The circus one came close.

If you enjoyed the first season (which imo is the best of the lot so far, followed by Asylum, Freakshow, and Cult ), then check out series 8 that's being aired next Wednesday - it's a crossover between Murder House and Coven.

Breaking Bad definitely gets my vote, if you haven't seen it already that is an absolute MUST.

Making a Murderer - If you have Netflix and haven't seen this yet, you need to.

Evil Genius - A pretty twisted true crime documentary
I'm right there with ya! All good ones. Check out The Jinx if you haven't already. It's an HBO mini series about Robert Durst.

Suits and The Guardian are also two killer shows if you're into law. Both on Amazon.

Just finished with Dexter last night... I think we're going to Ozark next. Dexter took us months to finish (8 seasons with 12 shows per).

I am feeling like I have lost a loved one currently....
One of my all time favorite shows. They left it open for a return and there have been rumors he may come back.

Seemed odd having a serial killer as the good guy. Taking the trash out!

How about the Sons of Anarchy spin-off with The Mayans? I'll likely check that one out.

That said, I liked the early seasons of SOA. But it got really weird the last few seasons.

Never got to watch SOA but Mayans M.C. starts tonight and since it's a spinoff and not a continuation I'll check it out.

Looks good from the trailer's I've seen.

I think the seven seasons of SOA are available on Netflix...

Can confirm this. My gf binge watched the entire series, but I just couldn’t get into it after it started getting silly. Pinch

just finished NARCOS last night, holy shit man that was intense all the way through. so much violence. great show, recommend 10/10

Ozark will probably be next although i started Making a Murderer the other night

shows i've watched recently

Longmire - fuckin' awesome
Godless - blew me away at how good it was, really bummed that it had to end
Peaky Blinders - fuckin' really awesome, can't wait for the next season
Evil Genius - meh... kinda ok but all over the place, very little closure (i know it's a real story)
Breaking Bad - very good. not as great as everyone touted it up to be, but i enjoyed it

Narcos is gnar gnar for sure. Really good writing and acting. Really interesting because loosely based on a true story.

Ozark is really good. Hope they can continue it. We watched season 2 over two days.

Check out Santa Clarita Diet. Great show to watch with a significant other. Funny, bloody, awesomeness.

I'm going to check out Narcos next. Watched quite a few of Santa Clarita diet too. It is pretty funny. Actually caught a breaking bad episode awhile ago and tried to watch Malcolm's dad and wasn't working. We just now decided to give it a shot from the start.

Anyone watch the Mayons tonight?

I thought t was pretty decent for a pilot episode. Sucked me right in and that’s hard to do. I just hope they keep a good storyline and don’t go to far out there like SOA

I thought they went a little too far on the gunfights. Hopefully they will reign that in a bit to keep it more realistic

I'd never heard of Ozark before, but judging what you guys are saying it seems like a good show to binge, so that'll be next on my list I think!

I missed Walter White when it was over. Started it from the beginning and watched the entire series a second time

When you are done with it you can start on “Better call Saul”
It won’t be a complete breaking bad fix but there are numerous characters in Saul that were n breaking bad

I am digging Breaking bad. Any show that starts with a motorhome barreling through the desert by a guy with a gas mask on in his underwear has my attention. Good times.

i felt like Breaking Bad just dragged on at times. i think there were some of the best episodes i've ever seen in tv, but also some serious down-times. by the time i finished it i was ready for something new.

i really liked the first half of the series

Talking about dragging on.. The walking dead... I mentally gave up after season 4 or so.. But the wife kept watching until 2 seasons with the Negan character, she couldn't stand it no longer.

I couldn't get over how the actual "walking dead" became background noise and everyone stopped trying to figure out why these motherfuckers are dead and walking!

I did exactly the same thing, either season 4 or 5 I gave up on it.

The other one I couldn't get through was Game of Thrones, midway through season 3 I couldn't put myself through anymore of the boredom and gave up.

Before you watch "Making a Murderer" be forewarned that much of what you're about to see is bullshit. I bought into it and watched the whole damn thing, only to find out later that the filmmakers left a bunch of important details out. Yes, the police were inept and did some shady shit, but Steven is far from innocent. Do some research on this case before you get caught up in it.

AMC's The Son with Pierce Brosnan.
Drama, Western
Season 2 starts this year.
Synopsis: A multi-generational epic telling of the story of America's birth as a superpower through the bloody rise and fall of one Texas oil empire.

Paramount's Yellowstone with Kevin Costner.
Drama, Western
Season 2 starts in 2019.
Synopsis: A ranching family in Montana faces off against others encroaching on their land.

Netflix's Godless with Jeff Daniels.
Drama, Western
Mini-series, 7 episodes.
Synopsis: In the 1800's American West murderous outlaw gang leader Frank Griffin (Jeff Daniels) hunts for ex-protege Roy Goode. Frank's chase leads him to La Belle, New Mexico - a town inhabited, after a mining disaster, almost entirely of women.
Ditto on Longmire and Godless- excellent. Have not yet seen The Son or Yellowstone.

If you like Western's- "Hell on Wheels" was an awesome series.

Based on the building of the railroad across the US in the 1800's, so it is based on actual events.

I know this is about Netflix, but I'm gonna be more general and dump all of the shows I recommend by the available streaming services.

Netflix:

Godless (1 Season) - Probably the best Western show in a long, long time. It's a limited series so it was one season and one.

Hell on Wheels (5 Seasons) - Before Godless came around, this was my favorite Western show. It starts as a revenge tale but the story starts to expand in season two (focuses on building the railroad). It does get a little iffy towards the end but the ending was about as satisfying as it could be for a show like this.

Archer (9 Seasons) - The first three or four seasons are great adult entertainment. The rest, not so much.

Mad Men (7 Seasons) - Follows a group of men who work for an advertising firm in the 1960s.

Mindhunter (1 Season) - Perhaps one of the best shows of the past decade. This is from David Fincher (Seven, Zodiac, Gone Girl, Fight Club) and tells the story of how serial killer profiling came to be. The interviews are actually pretty true to real life, and Ed Kemper's interviews in the show are almost just a recital of his real life interviews.

Ozark (2 Seasons) - A slower show but deals with the interesting topic of money laundering and how hard it is to do.

Shameless (8 Seasons) - If you've been looking for a dirty comedy that follows a low class family in Chicago, you're in luck.

The Keepers (1 Season) - Documentary about how the Catholic Church (allegedly) covered up the murder of a nun who discovered the abuse that was going on in a Catholic school. Very well done.

The Last Kingdom (2 Seasons) - Set it 872, this follows a man named Uhtred who basically gets caught up in all of the drama he possibly can between rulers and kings. He's also a badass with a sword.

Breaking Bad (5 Seasons) - A science teacher becomes a meth cook, what's not to love?

Narcos (3 Seasons) - Pretty self-explanatory. Most of this show so far has focused on Pablo Escobar, but it's pivoting away from that storyline entirely and focusing on Mexico for season four.

HBO:

Band of Brothers (1 Season) - This is essentially a 10 hour WW2 movie, and it's by far the best war show ever created. Has a similar vibe as Saving Private Ryan (Steven Spielberg was a producer on this show).

True Detective (2 Seasons) - The first season is my favorite season of television of all time. Two detectives hunt down a serial killer in Louisiana.

Barry (1 Season) - Great comedy that also has a decent amount of action. Barry is an assassin who wants to become an actor.

Silicon Valley (5 Seasons) - A great office comedy about a startup company based on Silicon Valley.

Succession (1 Season) - Follows a family that is rich and pretty despicable

The Leftovers (3 Seasons) - A very small portion of the world's population disappears in an instant, but there is no explanation why. The show focuses on how people deal with the situation. It's a slow burn, but well worth it.

Sharp Objects (1 Season) - This isn't for everyone. It's one of the slowest burns I've watched in a long time and a lot of people seem to have struggled to get through it. This is based on the book by Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl) and focuses on a reporter who goes back to her hometown to report on a murder, but she, and everyone in the town for that matter, has some serious personal issues to deal with.

Hulu:

The Looming Tower (1 Season) - Tells the story of how the CIA and FBI would rather play team games than potentially prevent 9/11.

Amazon:

Justified (6 Seasons) - Follows a US Marshal on his many adventures. It's basically a Modern Western.

The Expanse (3 Seasons) - A real deal sci-fi show that should be getting a significant budget bump for season 4.

There are many others, but I think these are shows that some of you might find interesting.
