FMOTP by definition refers to who is fastest NOW. Lots of people have held that title in their time. At the moment, I would say that Herlings is that guy. James was that guy but he's retired....he didn't announce it but it's time to accept it fanboys.

RC is still the fastest guy. I mean when Stewart pulling to the side of the track where there's no spectators in order to let him by because he can't keep going RC's pace for the entire moto that alone should say something.

I'm not sure about that, I recently read on here that this years MXdN means nothing because of all the advantages Team USA will have, and it's all about next years event when the race is on an even playing field. Blink

There has never , ever been a rider more dominant in this sport than RC was. He went on a full decade of waxing dude's not only here , but across the pond. We have had a lot of great champion's in this sport......but NOT ONE of them hold a candle to how dominant RC was. That goes for every dude on planet earth!

I don't remember who said it, and that may not be exactly what was said lol but the person was pretty much already writing off the event this year because team USA had a bunch of advantages and whatnot, and said that he's really only interested in seeing who shows up at Assen next year.

Herlings doesn't even race Supercross and if he did he wouldn't even make it out of the lcq. With that said it's RC all day everyday. Eachtime he was challenged he stepped it up and raised the bar. This includes a prime Bubba.

RV as in Villopoto? His first professional year was after RC retired. The only thing that beat RC that year was father time.
