Granted going from Ronnie Mac the character to Brown the real human is a step up it brings more attention to the fact that "we're exploiting a loophole to send a second team U.S.A.".
I know I'm in the minority here but if I agree to a game of 3x3 I don't try and get another 3 of my guys on the field because of a technicality only I can take advantage of.
These guys are risking everything for a good cause.
Also, who in the world doesn't want to hear two stokes again?
Do you want to be part of the group of people actively trying to stop this effort?
Do any other countries do / have an opportunity to do this? I don't recall any but I'm sure I'm wrong.
The 125 for him Steve?
BUT, I'm surprised people are putting their sentimental feelings about a MX race above a legitimate humanitarian crisis.
Regardless of how they are going about it, the end result is a worthy one and I support it. Will be buying a Tshirt or two.
Pit Row
Its going to be a wild ride for the media up until race day!
The Ronnie Mac thing has no place at the MXDN. There's a difference between competitive sports and circus shows. I'd rather not see the MXDN treated as a show.
Just a matter of opinion that if I'm asked to send my best three... I send my best three, not six. No matter how good or bad those extra three people or my intensions are I was asked to send three. Im fully on board with them (as well as every other American racer, rider, casual fan, or civilian) attending, making as much noise as they can, sell as much shit as they can, and make as much money as they can for Puerto Rico but I just feel they should be more respectful of the tradition of sending 3 and not play around with loopholes.
It's the same argument I make every year we send a second team.
Edit: I fully realize my bitching will do nothing to change the outcome of it, just sharing my views, and I hope they raise a shit ton of money for Puerto Rico.
