Its not like chad to openly ride a bike and post all over in non cryptic posts for no reason. So my question is if he were to be on a honda, what is the most likely team? It would seem motoconcepts, but could it be hrc or geico? It could make sense for any of them from a marketing standpoint. I am thinking a 450 geico would sell the most product....sorta kevin windham style when he retired.

He deserves a ride, one of what 7 riders to make every main event this year? With an injury, on his own dime and no training....He looks pretty damn fit right now and at the end of the day this is a business and he gets more attention than probably every other racer out there.

HIs wife posted on IG that he will retire if he doesn't get a ride.

Packing away some cool stuff today. Memory lane is awesome. The track is still for sale but this is one step needed to be able to let go. It’s time and we are 100% about selling and so the packing up / clean outs are part of the process. Someone will have so much joy out there, as we have had. There is no sadness for me. Just thankful to have had so much adventure on that property doing what we love and looking forward to whatever is next. Happy times in the Reed house. we aren’t making some dramatic retirement statement you could be stuck with us for another season yet and he will always find somewhere to ride / train ! Everything is possible !! A team may want him and it fits then- let’s go racing. ?? @crtwotwo ❤️?

Geico has some young riders. A roll similar to what Loracco and Windham had would be sweet and a good way to go out.

No telling...but I'll betcha TwoTwo and his latest pay-for-play with Husqvarna has cost him plenty. I think at one time Reed was one of the richest men in MX...but I'd be willing to bet that ain't the case any more.

He sure said several times in recent interviews that he's not footing the bill again, he'll either be on a team or he won't ride.

If he doesn't land on a team, it shows the status of SX currently. I know he is gonna want a pretty good paycheck, but for Reed to not get a ride and someone like Savatgy lands on a factory team doesn't make sense.

Maybe, but most on here speculate he has burned the bridges because he couldn't get comfortable on the bike and said so instead of always saying the bike was great like most guys. Is that want manufacturers want, probably not. But that doesn't necessarily mean those bridges are burnt. JT$ or Ozzy could tell us more on Reeds status in the industry, it seems that most people around the pits still respect him. He would have to be beneficial to a team, 800k + followers on Instagram, only Roczen has more than that.

the media embargo on the 2019 Hondas comes off on Monday, so will be interesting to see what the reviews are like for the R and WE models.
