Anyone have a decent bike set up they could share as I can’t get this one figured out right now? Seems like some of you guys are getting dialed in big time!! Thanks

I love MESX and really digging Pro. However, they really need to move away from the right stick triggering the scrub mechanism. I miss being able to weight the outside peg with right stick rider control like it was in GP 1 and 2.

And what a guy mentioned above.....I do wish they would steer towards the MES physic's , because to me , those physic's are pretty much the best there is when it comes to an MX game. In my opinion....

The skill gap in MES was slim. That game was a fun one, but I think you guys will start to like this one more if you stick around more than a week. In gp pro try not using very much right stick except when entering the corner and that’ll help with the random crashes a bit
I hear ya. I actually got to play quite a bit of it today , after having some issues. My video card driver was just out of date and kept crashing the game randomly. Just played 2 hours strait trying to learn it , updated drivers.....running very smooth. Was actually surprised How well my R9 fury runs everything pretty much maxed out and is super smooth.

Now if I could just figure out how to play the game correctly haha. This is the toughest MX game I have ever played. Top the point of being extremely frustrating.....but I want it that way. I want it to stay really difficult. Gives me something to shoot for. Trying to figure out some bike setting which has been tough. Front end seems real squirrely.

So far.....frustrating because I suck badly.......but I freakin' love it! The race car sims I play are like this too. It takes years of practice to race in the upper classes and do well in some of those sims. And even though I know this isn't really a sim , it's the closet mx sim I've ever played and looks great doing it.

Btw......There may be a few little bugs , but I hope Milestone doesn't " dumb " this game down. Leave it hard to learn!

So I've logged some hours and the only downfall of the gameplay is the scrub/whip animation. Besides that everything else is next level. Easily the most realistic MX console game I've played where your body positioning and power delivery actually matters. Mess either of those up, you're going down (at least w/ pro physics). Oh and with the 250 two stroke, speakers on blast in 1st person view, maybe the greatest video game experience of my life. I may or may not have teared up a bit.

I like the game so far. I believe it’s better than mxgp 3. Things that they can improve on are track width, scrubbing is pointless and doesn’t come back correctly, speed seems too fast in this one and the gear selection could be a lot better. But it’s fun so far.

Man I love the track in Argentina. Just a really fun track to me. So far I am enjoying the game ( on the PC) I’m not very good so the AI gives me a real challenge. Slowly getting my RMZ-450 tricked out. Some of those upgrades sure are expensive...

Here's what I have for the 250. I havent put much time on the 450 as I'm going through the extreme career in depth. I want to learn both bikes and get everything out of this game so I dont get bored with it. The numbers I have are how far off they are from the default setup (the middle of the scale)

Preload front: +2
Preload rear: +4
Fork
Low speed compression: -2
High speed compression: +2
Low speed extension: -2
High speed extension: +2
Single shock absorber
Low speed compression: +2
High speed compression: +2
Low speed extension: +1
High speed extension: +3
Springs front: +2
Springs rear: +3

These seem to work well on the hard pack tracks and I dont slide out near as much. The only other thing I use is the long wheelbase and high gear ration for valkenswaard and lommel

Gawd dang! This MXGP pro , completely blows the doors off of MXGP 3 , 2 , 1 , ect......

At first I was hoping that the physic's would steer towards the MES game ( which are great btw! ).....but I like this even better. So much more challenging. The tracks are far superior to the tracks in the older versions as well. the only ( and I mean the only ) thing I can complain about right now , is a random crash in a corner for no reason. I understand to not lock the brakes up in mid air , at all sideways before you enter a tune ( major swap out! ) . I dig this game because of how challenging it can be. I haven't dove to much into all the paticular's as of yet......but to me , this thing was worth every penny. Very fun indeed.

Two things and only two things I dont like about the tracks. Most of then aren't wide enough and the ruts and deterioration isnt that great..

It would be cool to see a “injury” or extensive crashing feature in the extreme career. Tip over in a turn and it takes more than .5 seconds to get up and go. Make it a 5 second penalty. Or to further it, have a big get off or eat massive shit, it forces you to DNF. It would be super difficult, but it would make the career mode actually difficult on the hardest setting. I’m breezing through the career with no real challenge. I’ve had to start giving the AI head starts.

Glad to hear others are enjoying this as much as I am! I am impressed with the physics as well. Another somewhat neat touch I noticed, that the track deteriorates throughout the day when you do practice and qualifiying etc. Pretty neat that you start some races with a track already torn up.

I have read a few comments stating the track deterioration doesn't affect the gameplay. I'm guessing anyone who has put a few hours on this would disagree, I notice a difference in traction, berms, rough sections, jump faces, etc.

Another difference I seem to notice is the forgiveness with the scrubs. Seems easier to initiate the scrub earlier on the face of the jump compared to MES. I had a lot of spills on the face of a triple with MES. It really lets you fly low when timed properly.

Another thing that must be mentioned, this game is pretty and smooth even on Xbox One S, with a field of 22 racers, with gorgeous tracks and locales, amazing performance from this game.

Can't recommend this enough.

Can't wait to try 2 strokes.

I would say 40 bucks would have been better. But I think it’s worth it. I think give it time and let the dlc come and it will be well worth it

Yes and yes. Even on my day one Xbox it runs smooth. There’s a way to brake loose from the scrub animation and take control of the scrub. The 2 strokes need the clutch tapped in areas hahah pretty sick.

There’s a few tracks that the physics really make the game fun. On pietramatura before mechanics area you can triple into the section hitting the inside berm and do the 3 whoops, before Landing shift up and Manual over the face of the ski jump and staying lower. Just wish every race could be clear weather.

I picked it up for $40 off Amazon but you may need to be a prime member to apply coupon.

I hear you on the scrubs not coming back correctly. The tip states to remember to bring the bike back but in real life scrubs self correct. Not sure why it wouldn’t be the same in the game unless I’m doing something wrong.

The more I play the game the more I like it. It is hard as hell and when playing on realistic difficulty you can't fuck up too many times and still pull off a win. Well, I guess I should say that I can't, anyway. When you really nail a lap or even a section it really feels good because it isn't easy.

I still have a random crash here and there where I have no idea why it happened, but aside from that I think it's outstanding. My only other gripe is with the fact that you have to run those God awful sponor graphics that just look like absolute dog shit.

I think this is far and away the best MX game ever made. Incredibly realistic and the tracks are an absolute blast! The tracks deteriorate a lot faster and actually reward good line choices and momentum, especially in the sand.

I find that most of those random mid-corner crashes are when I'm pushing into the corner and trail braking a lot with the front. It also can happen if you don't hit the berm/rut correctly.

The scrubs come back on the 450 better than they did on the 125 so maybe that has something to do with it? They still don’t come back very consistent so I just don’t scrub at all.

I dare to say its the best MX game to date. Its very enjoyable , the bike sound and physics of the bike/rider is much improved from mxgp3. And the graphics are awesome. Is it perfect no but milestone is getting better with every game.

I got it over the weekend and logged a couple of hours on it. I have always been able to win every race by 30 seconds in the past games especially MESX (which I still dig very much so). I love the fact that you actually spin the bike out with to much gas and that you can cross rut and swap out. I cant get away from the damn rewind but I need to, its cheating. But I won qatar on my privateer Husky FC250 and I actually had to work for it. I cant start for crap so I start in like 12th every time if not worse and its much harder to pass dudes now. This is possibly the best MX game ever made.
