Impact of vortex x10/get cdi?

Hi am looking at a vortex x10 or get cdi for a ktm/husky 125.

Anybody got some info on the impact on hp/torque these devices have? And in what range?.
They cost $700 over here so would like to what the impact would be. Contacted the dealer but he couldnt tell more then "customers are happy". No dyno available

This is what i know and have heard, but it doesnt apply to 2 strokes i dont think... but, a remap on an efi bike adds a pretty damn good amount of power. And ive heard quite a bit that the vortex/GET ecus are even better than that. Whether its worth $700, thats up to you and how deep your pockets are.

I have one on my Yz250f and it’s definitely better. Each map feels different and the ease of changing them is nice. As far as being worth 700 that’s a hard one. If it hadn’t come with the bike I wouldn’t buy one. I had always done stock remaps on my Honda’s with good enough results.

for my 450 the x10 was worth it. The ability to try so many maps and settings you could tune your bike effortlessly, you eventually settle on 2 favorite settings though, but its the learning process that makes it fun.

Thanks for the replies. @kb228 both products are availablefor 2-strokes.

I guess i'm just abit amazed that many companies cannot offer data when they claim their product improves performance. I like what Scalvani does (dyno chart for their products comparing standard versus their product).

It's not worth it for a two stroke unless your engine is built. It will make a difference in stock form, but not enough to justify 700 dollars.

It'd be good to help with having a curve for torque, rev, crap fuel etc.
Also good for built engines to compliment the direction of the build in terms of engine power placement. I'll be getting one for my cr139 then getting it tuned on the Dyno.

I had one on my 2 stroke back in the day, IMO didn't make that big of difference. Now on the 4 stroke, it made a big difference and was worth the money. That's my 2 cents...

made a huge difference on our yz125 in x10 "holeshot" mode. Way more lowend. My kid rode in that mode exclusively especially in AX. Prob not worth the cost though i got mine used.

there is 10 maps and you get to pick the enhanced standard and one other if I recall correctly. We have our x10 set on the holeshot setting and it gives noticable low end.

I have 2 JD ignitions for my CR2's with one being on a modified engine & the other on a bone stock one. It made a noticeable difference on the modified one in comparison to the non-modified. Save your money unless your planning to do some mods on your 125.

What is that graph?

Aren't they more effective in EFI bikes, and not so much in carbureted bikes?
(Was toying with the idea for my 2-stroke, as well.)

For sure much more scope on an efi bike.
But this is real performance from a small capacity 2 stroke GET have a very good product here.
