How much a person could pay for a leftover ‘17...
And what could they do with the money they saved.
Btw, I’d get a ‘17 RX!
There’s at least one improvement on the ‘19 models that’s not described in the PR, but it should be useful to us (you and I) in our quest for an all-terrain ripper.

That's the X and L, amigo.

The 2019 R's and RX's have a gear position sensor (a-la 2009 CRF450R); which should come in handy for terrain-specific engine mapping.

Machine or hand ported ? The head pipe sucks with the heat plate as I have the TI Yoshimura without already and is it TI full exhaust or aluminum.. should I just drop my 18 off at pro circuit and have the head machine ported and the coating done on the forks.
Idk.. it could have been better. Maybe I’ll just do a chad and buy a new rockstar husky and let sip’ at pro Circuit set me up with a clean head and call it a day.

That's strange..does pro circuit do fork coating? Bones Bacon wrote in one of his MXA articles that he is totally opposed to getting stock forks re coated and went on to give a detailed explanation as to why. He said as long as it's done when the forks are actually made its ok and can be of some benefit, but don't waste your money getting your forks coated he said....

Total waste of money and Pro Circuit does not do fork coatings because they only offer the good coatings that actually make a difference and look good that come with their A-kit straight from Japan which is 10,000 dollars for one set. The coatings that come on this works edition bike are of shit quality and mass produced, black titanium nitride is the cheapest of the cheap, also what really would have sold bikes is if they put whats called turquoise titanium nitride on the bike instead of the shitty black stuff that will peal off in no time, they should have done DLC if they wanted to go the black route but no way in hell Honda going to give you the good stuff for a 12,000 dollar price tag. Basically works edition is a easy profit for Honda because its the same thing as the stock bike with shit coatings thrown on it. The shock body is not even Kashima coated LOL and the fork lugs are still shit caste units instead of Billet units that come with the A-kit. Here is a picture of what you really want!

I’m pretty sure the stock Honda forks can and this new works edition is exactly just that, the stock forks coated.

Probably be about $16 k in Australia... I'm not impressed with the bling
With only 500 made there won't be two many, or any, over here in the lucky country.
A guy I know traded his '17 crf450r in on one. Thing is badass. I wouldnt dish out that much but he loves it so to each is own. I'm about to trade my '17 rmz in on a '19 crf450r just the standard one. I'm not to worried about all the bling lol
