Ha ha, oh man this was funny. Neil explaining to Craig Ferguson the simulation theory starting at exactly 20:00, but the funny part comes at 22:50 (you have to watch from 20:00 to set it up though):

Definitive Data from Seattle

First, I was like, "Photoshop."

Then, I was like, "Whoa, crappy Photoshop... that's clearly the top of the Space Needle from Seattle and not a flying saucer."

Then, I was like, "Oh."

They were talking about it again the other night on the news.... Woohoo

Airline pilots see UFO

I think it's interesting the way this stuff just gets swept under the rug and nobody really makes a big deal about it and then it will be forgotten.

But here you have three pilots in two different planes who saw the same thing.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmm...... Smile

The thread will keep popping up as long as things keep being reported by the mainstream media, and that will be more and more.

Not sure what you're implying here or if you have followed along the whole thread.

Are you trying to say the two UFO sightings I have seen here in Arizona with somebody else by my side did not really happen?

I have no reason to make this stuff up or be disillusioned, it's not like I'm going to get rich or hit the jackpot by describing my UFO sightings...Cool

I have no idea why Arizona is one of the places of most UFO sightings in the world but it's just not a coincidence to me.

It's always been interesting that people believe the impossible things that happen in the bible but completely dismiss the possibility of alien life.

I think life exists elsewhere in the cosmos. Might not be how we perceive it. But it’s there. Somewhere.

There are degrees of belief. That word can mean everything from a direction a person is leaning, to rock solid certainty. The other thing is, what do you do with this belief? It can be just having some fun on a forum to something you organize your whole life around. G-man seems to believe that we have been/are being visited by beings from elsewhere in the universe and cites UFO's as evidence. Not a very scientific approach but pretty harmless if all it is is a forum discussion. Then you have the people of Heaven's Gate who were convinced that a UFO was following the comet Hale-Bopp and was coming to take them to heaven or wherever. They bought a $2500 telescope to view the UFO and returned it as defective because they couldn't see the UFO with it. They eventually all committed suicide to facilitate their departure to the mother ship. That's commitment.
Personally, I don't entertain beliefs.

There is a HUGE difference between believing in the possibility/probably that there is alien life out there in the cosmos, and believing that that alien life has visited Earth, let alone believing that that alien life had a hand in building the pyramids. For me, there is no proof that I have seen yet to lead me to believe that alien life has visited Earth, like there is no proof that many of the fantastic bible stories ever happened. Now, I'm not saying G-man didn't see something he couldn't identify. I totally believe him. I've seen many things I couldn't identify.

Every thing on earth just seems too planned out for it to be a bunch random occurrences ,the way many different living creatures interact and depend on each other to continue life. Just look at the human body ,the brain ,the endocrine system . It just seems so advanced to have just evolved from a single cell . It's a bigger mystery then the pyramids .

The interesting aspect of it is the similarities of all living creatures. Everything building from DNA, the reliance on liquid water, the similarities in reproduction among each kingdom (why do humans reporduce the same way mice do) the ability to injest almost any other living thing to sustain life. Is it common origins or a lazy creator hitting the copy-paste key?

There is also a huge difference between evidence and proof. There is plenty of evidence and a good amount of proof for many of the fantastic bible stories and there is some evidence and little proof that aliens have visited. According to your standard nothing historical can really be proven. Did Alexander the Great exist? How do we know it's not a made up story?. Did Vikings make it to North America? evidence suggests they did but we have little proof. Does Bigfoot exist? maybe not today but certainly large human like ape things walked around on earth along side people so that could be considered proof, or evidence.

Evidence is evidence, we all lend various amounts of credit or dismiss the implications of it.

Off the top of my head these are some of the major areas for where science and the fantastic Bible stories agree on evidence

Bible says .................................................................................. Science Says

a powerful being created the universe in an instant.......................The universe was created in an instant (Big Bang)

people are descended from one couple ........................................People are descended from a very small population
.......................................................................................................and perhaps one woman labeled
.......................................................................................................mitochondrial eve

the world was once covered by water...........................................The world was once covered by water

other types of humanoids existed before......................................Many types of humanoids existed some at the same
Adam and Eve...............................................................................time as modern humans

No. I don't think I've ever seen a cop on the roads I ride on. Almost never see another car. It's amazing. Here's a sample of some of the miles solo:

And one of my favorites (had a few guys behind me on this one so had to take it a "little" easy):
