Sheesh, everything that I thought was cool about him up to now has pretty much been outweighed by that one comment above saying he talked to Luongo and thinks MX should be in a flat field near a city.
Hard to come back from that one.
Just wondering have you been taking note about anything Cairoli said in his life on a piece of paper? lol.
I mean, feel free to say anything but please leave the asthma thing away, you're not a doctor and you don't wanna say anything about medicines, do you?
Same applies to kongols as well, you've been throwing shit on Cairoli for years now, I'm pretty sure someone here would kill for the sport just like soccer fans would and that's a really big shame, we don't want a fanbase like that. Pathetic. Leave the extremism somewhere else please.
"Lack of respect for the history of the sport" ahahahah holy shit what are you talking about mate? You're the only one not showing respect here with your post, believe me. That is what we call defamation (not just towards Cairoli, to KTM as well) and in some countries that is a crime, did you know?
About the US thing, he never said "I'm going there" and then he didn't go, he just said "I might go there" , it was just a supposition, an idea, he never signed anything. There is a big difference between what you stated and what Cairoli actually stated, just don't make things bigger or put something he never said just to throw shit on him cause this is what you call a "lack of respect" and that is ridiculous. And yes, reaching 10 world titles and 101 GPs when you could win them in 1 day/year was easier of course.
I remember Everts moaning too sometimes but so much time has passed now and unlike you I never took notes of that, I've had some more important stuff to do in my life.
Also I'd like a source of that piece of paper you attached at the end, cause I never read/heard it anywhere. Sounds fake as fuck.

And in favor of Cairoli, Everts had it "easier" as his dad was a former world champion who knew the right people and what was necessary to win. Ofcourse I know Suzuki didn't sign him because he was "the son of", but it helped without a doubt. And he could win 3 GP's a day by winning 3 races, that's just one more as they race now, maybe to win 1 GP. Cairoli's family had nothing and they had to go to the main land every weekend to race some decent competition.
I just respect the both of them and their careers a lot. Anyone around here would give an arm to race half as fast as they do/did. They are/were both champions, who can only be satisfied with a win, not second. The biggest champions are often not the most enjoyable people.
Just try to enjoy the racing, as this little Sicilian is - if you like it or not - one of the greatest ever.
I think this title fight will create a great rivalry really soon, there’s a lot of tension between the two teams
I know Herlings is totally off topic here but let me say, it looks like to me when Cairoli says anything polemical then he is a whiner, when Herlings or anyone else complains then it seems everything is gonna get through unnoticed.
Did anyone read Herlings interview after last GP? He's complaing on Cairoli cutting him at the start, come on. It's the start. Cairoli was probably unaware on what was happening behind him.
And by the way what was Herlings expecting, Cairoli slowing down at the start to let him pass? Noone brakes at the start and unfortunately for Herlings he got closed in the back. Herlings would have done the same, just saying.
It's hard, hard racing, at World Championships level.
And people say Cairoli is arrogant - Christ, he's but a 100th of what Herlings is on that scale.
We've 2 key whiners here about Cairoli, and I think they need to grow up.
Fuck me, Desalle is one of the great assassins of Motocross - and I've enjoyed the MX Pandas hard riding for years now.
Fanboys and Haters - pathetic, childish wankers by any other name.
Put a good track anywhere, even in a road race facility like Assen, and it works. It’s nothing to do with facilities. It’s because of the track.
Put a shit track anywhere and it doesn’t work. We’ve had plenty of those.
Switzerland also produces good racing, despite it being a one-off circuit. That said, the fact that it’s a good track is, I believe, purely by chance. If it was by design then YS would repeat that elsewhere. Once in a while they build something that turns out good racing. However I really don’t think they grasp why that is. That’s why we still get shitty tracks at many venues. Maybe one day they’ll figure out the formula that’s staring them in the face every time they get a good race.

It's funny you mention Everts standing up for safety in South Africa though, I always remember the time he got tapped by Pichon and went down there, chucked his goggles at him from the berm like a little bitch when he next came past, then got on his bike and decided to get in the way of Pichon for the next few laps at every opportunity!
It was also pretty funny when he called out American's for being cowards for not racing, then Windham entered late, lined up and beat him!
Everts was always such a class act...
Oh wait, you're Italian, you're biased!
On the other I'm sometimes a bit irritated by his double standards. Starts like in Redsand are OK for me, when Ferrandis did that to Herlings, without being in the championship hunt, but just because he wanted to win his home GP. I couldn't understand all those crybabies, now again I can't understand those crybabies. But if AC222 gets this back he doesn't need to be crying about in interviews. Because in the past, that is what he did. He's the greatest of his erea and sometimes it seems like he wants to be threaten with respect by his competitors. But we all know you can't have to much respect if you wanna race someone. The last few years riders had to much respect for Everts too! The only few who didn't took that respect with them to the track were riders as Townley, Coppins and Tortelli in his few races back.

If you understand dutch and you watch this Belga Sport repo, you will get also more respect for Everts. His mentally draining dad who talked about motocross 24/7 and pushed him very hard because he didn't wanted Stefan to become a kid who thought everything came easy. So that he got rid of Harry at a certain point seems more logical then a dickhead move. Also if you look at every top performer his journey to the pinnacle of his doing, then you will get more respect for them. Because hard work is always the basis of everything.
Seb, Philippaerts, Keeno, Coppins, Smets and Desalle were all tough, they didn’t let you by, you had to earn it.
