I can't believe no mentioned KW one from a few years ago. I believe it was Glen Helen but it might have been Hangtown. He was leaned way over on the Honda 4 stroke in front of everybody. I look for the photo later.

Nice...one thing I miss about racing was the holeshot. I was always slow, but great out of the gate. There are a couple of starts I remember where it just seem liked the tires were locked to the ground and you knew the bike would hold so you lean it over and hold it wide. One of the best feelings you can get on a dirt scooter.
I've had that experience "txmxer". Go like a bat out of hell for about 2 turns and drop like a anchor. LOL Just for a bit of controversy, who does that remind you of in the the SX class? Sound familiar?

I've retired, but a few years ago they talked me into lineing up. I wanted to do vintage, but the 84 has a disc brake. So I lined up in some "Evo 4" or some shit gate. All of them were modern bikes. I clicked her into 3rd and said "I'm gonna be first up the hill". Success, then I chunked the anchor...I think I got lapped on a 2 minute track.

A 3rd gear start on a 500 is something everyone should expierence.

This one is hard to beat, wide fricking open. Look at Mikeys right wrist position.

Funny, the first thing I noticed was all the boot soles. Check out who's hot on Mikey's tail too.
