Osborne Vs. Forkner

3/4/2018 12:11am
Just seen it. Nothing intentional by Forkner.
All these guys throw the bike sideways and set them selves up for the next turn. You can even see Osborne was drifting more to the right side.

Bad timing. Bad luck. No foul. Carry on.

Osbourne showed Forkner that he was there the corner before, how did he not see that move from Forkner coming? Especially when it's not just a complete random but it's Forkner that he's in a title fight with.Osbourne is quick to put people on the ground and this time he sent out a warning the corner before that he was coming, go figure...

I am on Forkner's side on this one. Racing incident, nothing more. No injuries, so it was nice to watch.

It might or might not have been intentional(i think it was intentional). But he still crossjumped and the other rider went down(Osborne in this case), that was the result of it.

That is not acceptable. You can race aggressive and tough but crossjumping is off the limits, especially if it gets so bad that the other dude actually goes down.

Yes, Osborne is one of the most aggressive riders out there and he had something coming. But that is not the way to do it.

Can you send me the video of the race you were watching?

I can see Forkner doing that on purpose after listening to his interview. Not saying he did, because I wouldn’t know, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he did.

Forkner certainly shows world class speed at times.
That’s exactly what he was doing! He realized he had to get to the inside. He was about 1 foot off, another foot and he woulda went down also.

In the press conference and post race interviews I’ve seen Forkner hasn’t defended or apologised for the move at all.
If he didn’t mean to cross jump surely you’d say “my bad, I didn’t mean that”
I understand he probably doesn’t care what Zach thinks but I’d imagine it’s important to his fan base that he isn’t a cross jumping piece of shi.....
By the way Zach is so lucky to escape a major crash there! I guess it’s his year again lol

Zack was moving to the right. So both were cross jumping. Oz can take people out and it's just going for it but when he goes down it's a bad move. Bs

So if the forkner situation was for a title its OK to cross jump? I didnt say whats right or wrong. Karma is karma and theres no denying osborne is over aggressive - a lot. Regardless, injuries are prone in all scenerios. Roczen broke his hand in a corner.

Either way, if it's for a championship you do whatever you need to do that's not going to seriously hurt yourself or anyone else. I'll still by my statement that you're a dumbass if you honestly believe what Osborne did to Savatgy for a championship was bad.

I don't need to explain any situations. I just laughed because you are butt hurt about Osborne putting Savatgy down for a championship. I never have a problem with a guy getting aggressive in turns and such. So I'm not sure what you'd like me to explain?

What Forkner did last night is a no-no. I doubt it was intentional though. That type of move could result in not only Osborne seriously injured but Forkner too.

You are acting like forkner in the heat of the battle said to himself “I’m gonna cross jump this fool”, many times in the heat of the battle a guy can say to himself “I gotta get over there” and cause a problem getting there.

People who race know this happens by accident!

Um no. That's actually the exact opposite. I've said many times that it probably wasn't intentional. I've made it pretty clear to everyone (except you for some reason) that I don't blame either one of them and that it was a racing incident.

They are both guilty. Unfortunately Zach-O got the shit end of the stick on this one.
That being said, after his move on Joey last year I can't see how Zach-O can be mad at all.

Don't want to deal with that stupid BS? Ride the 450 class.

Or have grown accustomed to seeing cross jumping in pro races. Marvin Muaquinn comes to mind.

Thread winner.

No one has mentioned the horrible call from the booth. "He smashed his face into the fender" "good thing it's made of plastic". "his bike is bent" blah blah.

His face hit the bars. the bars hit the fender twice. Osborne was amazing in the way he reacted to it all, off the bike twice while it was bucking, lands on his feet, runs and covers the clutch.

I couldn’t help wondering if Tomac had experienced the same crash. It was a major crash to me. One that, if me, I’d still be laying there wondering where I was, yet Zach, like always, hurting and bent bike, recovers and still kicks ass. Dude is just as much of a beast as Weston Peick.

Other than the front brake lever out of position, I'm not buying the bent bike story they were selling. But Osborne manned up, Baker's Boys always seem to.

Any of y'all comparing cross jumping to corner take outs are retarded. Seriously, GTFO and don't ever ride with me.
Forkner has pulled this dumb shit before, he's just finally found the speed to do it on TV. He's a clown and y'all gonna figure it out soon enough.

I agree Osborne has rode aggressive and I m a Osborne fan he definitely got a few paybacks coming. But paying him back in midair on a sx track is not cool. Wrong is wrong your opinion on it shouldn't t change depending on who you do and don t like as a rider. If Osborne cross jumped forkner I would say the same thing it s not cool.
