You have to ask, really, Baker has had the best riders for 10 years... like i have said, turning champions into champions.

Maybe Anderson decided he doesnt need it, same as Roczen, and Cianciarulo.. Lets see what he can do with Bogle and Tickle.

Zach Osborne wins the Lites class, and he is as old as Dungey. He was the best rider in the field, on a factory bike, He beat half the riders in SX , and was by far the most experienced guy outdoors. He should have been on a 450 3 seasons ago.

He wasnt in a position where he could afford to lose, and he didnt .

There is no 'big thing ' in Lites , no new RV, or Roczen, or Tomac coming through... it was meant to be AC but he blew out early, and has done really well to rebuild after his nightmares.

Sure , he won, but who was realistically going to beat him,?

Big boy class is where its at , if he wins that , i will seriously be impressed.

Marvin is the best rider , because he is the best rider, not because he is with Aldon, he is a 2 time world champion, and a 13 year pro, its his time.

If RV was still here, Dungey hadnt bailed , and Roczen hadnt twatted himself, he'd still be a 4th place guy.

He didnt become the best , the best left , leaving him and Tomac to fill the void.

Anderson sits right in behind them

Well at least you have an opinion....and you know what they say about that...

While it's impossible to really know, I agree that this is a very plausible scenario.

In regards to Zacho, I think anyone would stand to improve by putting the work and discipline in that Aldon's program requires. Does that mean you need to be on the program? No. It's like p90x. Anyone who works out that hard, that often, will see results. It's not some magical end all, be all routine. It's the workload and discipline that is valuable. When you pay for p90x, or Aldon, then you making a choice to commit to that level of training. Simple as that.

If you guys want to really know how close these people are as friends, watch the last episode of MX Nation from last season from when Anderson crashed hard during practice. Watch Matilde (sp?) sprint all out at as fast as her legs could move to get over to check on Jason - she was the first on the scene. That chick can haul ass (literally) when she wants to. You don't do that for someone you aren't close to. Sure, you might quickly jog, but she was in an all out dead sprint. I have no doubt that Marv and Jason are very close personal friends, but it could just be that their friendship is so tight that you lose a little motivation when competing against each other. Sure everybody says they want to win, but it's that little extra motivation to beat somebody when you don't like them that can make a difference. Same can be said for when you are really good friends with someone else, the opposite happens. Motivation wanes against them. I highly doubt there is any personal friction, it's just all business. Off the track, I'm sure these people are still very close.

JA sould have left sooner.
Getting the beat down week in and week out is counter productive, that can easily set a mental block come race day.
I don't see how riding with rivals that are faster than you helps....not at their level.
It just sets up an instant pecking order and mentally that can put a racer at a disadvantaged.

Yep.

Weege asked Marvin after A1. He said that things have changed after Dungey retired since he was the clear number 1 guy.

That is normal in my eyes, no big deal. Both of them are title contenders and they finished 1 and 2 at A1. I imagine that it would be difficult to train together in that situation.
When Ken left Aldon it was also reported by the Baker came that it was mutual, no bad feelings and they still good friends.

We all know how that turned out once KR got on social media and started to speak his mind.

Same actually as Stewart, RC and even RV alittle when they left Aldon.

MM doesn't strike me at all like a guy who will say "Ye, there was shit man, glad he is gone" so he is being politically correct in my eyes for the media.

I dont agree. Ever heard the expression "if you're the fittest person in the room, move to a different room."?

Same applies with moto IMO.

I could just imagine a situation where Hannah and Marty Smith trained and rode together. Someone would die.

1, he hasn't LEFT bakers program so idk why everyone is like "glad hes gone"
2. I love how everyone is like, "it didnt' affect Roczen" "Kennys better without him" happier sure, but Roczen hasn't been better since he left aldon.. he won an outdoor title, but Dungey wasn't there, his other title was under baker and dungey was in it. He has still crashed out of every other series since, where some might say Aldon has a knack of getting riders heads of straight.

yup. His track up there is gnarly! A lot was grown over last time we were up there, but that track is freakin long!!!!

Did you ever hear the story of him taking Windham and team Yamaha up there in the early 90's?

No where, and in no articles/interviews does it imply that. Ando even says them at he is still with Aldon, and on the program.... just away from the facility.

Where have you guys heard or read that he is leaving the program? Because at this point, the only info only says that he is leaving Marvin’s side.
Do you honestly think he puts in the same intensity being away from Aldon???

I don't think so, and maybe thats a good thing for him, maybe its not.

But either way, he is doing his own thing and good for him. The Aldon program isn't the end all be all of training/riding.

Just wait, someone will dispute he's staying with Aldon even though it is coming directly from Jason...

Wow I did not realize I wasn't on the last page yet and completely missed the above posts lol. One of many reasons Jason is my favorite rider. He is very up front.

I don't get why people really like to harp on Aldon. The guy is good at what he does.

And?
He was there, wasn`t he? Got hurt. Which makes your post ironic.
Dungey won just one moto when Roczen`s bike had mechanical. The rest was one sided.

Ando might want aldon till he’s done but he doesn’t make that decision, number 1 rider does. N my opinion hasn’t changed because I watched that press conference. You could see something happened and ja wasn’t happy about it n marv couldn’t even look at ando. I then watched past press conferences where the two have always joked and talked to each other. I’m telling you ando May be on aldons online program ($100k for emails) but that’s not the real deal, n he knows that. Hopefully we don’t see the affects hit him hard like they did Roczen after he left, it takes a while to feel normal again after that kind of program.

He should be happy then. if he stays with Aldon the end of his career will come sooner rather than later.
