Something was wrong and it was more than his pants. I'm beginning to also think concussion cuz it didn't look like a serious shoulder problem. I was at the Lakewood MX race when he 'had his simple fall'. He was hauling the mail on a rutted downhill and into a sweeper and got rag dolled! It was obvious then that he was hurt...not so last night.

I'm hoping he will be ok after perhaps a little time off to recoop. Hate to lose a top competitor this early.

I know you think I'm joking but just go back and watch it when he is trying to start the bike he is shakeing so much I've seen it before it can happen even to pros his heart rate probably jump up so high and his body start to tighten up

He didnt act like he was hurt after he fell from What i saw. Seemed like the pants were the issue at the time

This was a seriously hard crash. Roczen destroyed his arm with something similar. His head rebounds off of the jump face. The pants got ripped loose. To doubt or minimize the possible after effects of this is silly. He wobbled getting up, the adrenalin had him going until he most likely realized he had vision issues and the pain set in when he stopped to attempt to secure his pants.

Separately, The lack of a e-start after the pants fastening issue became clear, he misses folding the starter out several times, and then 2 kicks. He was clearly wobbly getting up from the crash and almost tipped over a couple times.

The NFL is fading a lot of heat over concussions, but racing is not taking a stand on the issue. For his (and many others) own long term health, Doc Bodnar should be doing mandatory concussion testing. Maybe Canard can get involved in this safety issue?

So odd the way the rear kicked like that, maybe there was a little kicker there that we couldn't see. Marvin said he almost did the same thing in the same spot.

He is turning left, if he had wheel spin the wheel would slide out to the right, it actually kicks to the left.

He was pissed as a hornet, but basically looked ready to rock after getting the pants and bike going. I bet the pants came loose again right away and then the pain started adding to the feeling of,"if I keep going I am may just crash again and blow my hole season".

Agreed. That wasn't a washout on a turn - he augur'd in pretty hard. The top guys were having problems there all night.

I agree, pretty pathetic IMO. Tomac was wheeling away from everyone up until that point and looked really good. He got up fairly quickly and I thought he was going to mount a comeback up until his issues. It’s a shame his night took such a twist but hopefully he comes out swinging next weekend!

You watch... When the truth comes out it will show he was concussed in the crash and has a shoulder injury.

My opinion of course, but you can see the scuff marks on the top right of his helmet and the dirt marks on his right shoulder in the close up of him buckling his pants.
