As for the other brands i'm not sure, but i'd bet they're close to the AMA weight limit as well.
This has been discussed before, for the most part the factory bikes aren't much lighter than stock. The yamaha is a pig with or without titanium and aluminum bolts.

Reed. He’s a talented cat and can also stir the pot with the best. Hope he does well cause he’s run out of bikes to rip. I always felt like he looked most comfortable on the RMZ.

It depends on how you calculate. For a 20min main in this weather you dont need oversized radiators, fans etc. So if you take a factory bike as is with disc guards, heavier discs, heavier braking components etc im sure you can add up another 2-6 pounds over stock specially if it comes in one shape for outdoor and you are not allowed to change certain things.

If you calculate electric starter it lands on 20+ pounds difference (even though it was not on the Yami)

Maybe Reed has not done all that uplifting on his "privateer" Husky to be a full factory.

And sure, he would call 18.5lbs as 20lbs in an interview. So not completely unrealistic.

I think what also has been discussed before is that starting with a lighter bike lets teams lighten the bike even more, then add weight where they want it to be.

His setup doesn’t make those VIP experience tickets that were being offered very appealing. From the video it sounds like you might pay and end up washing the bike and cleaning filters.
