Sry not puffin anything so i cant pass.
The pace in sx has been pretty stagnant since id say about 08-10. Reeds out right speed is still there. He jas beat all of these guys quite a bit in the past. While time waits for no one, sx is more skill then anything. Races are short. Even shorter now as he will alway qualify out of the heats. No racing a semi or lcq here and there. That will go a long way to help him. If hes healthy in good shape and still willing to hang it out like back in the day . Hey absouley can stay inside the top five.

I don't know... But I do know I'd be shocked if he doesn't race like JT and Matthes are saying....

I don't know if they're just trying to wind the old shark up or being genuine, but considering there are stories of Reed coming off the couch and smoking 20 laps faster than everyone at the test track I'd be shocked if the baseline is not racing!

I still look at Phoenix last year and think if that's what happens when he is comfortable it's there.

Is 14 days enough for Baggett?

Hopefully he does like the steel frame and characteristics of the new white bike.

Thinking that it's going to be a cure all for all that he needs to run up front consistently just might be stretching it though.

He has continued to put himself behind schedule for several years now waiting on that better deal and getting things finalized way late in the game when he probably should have taken a less attractive deal and had more seat time to prepare which really would have helped this year with the late injury.

Anyway, it will be cool to see him out there again whether it be A1 or whenever and if he gets a decent start on a bike he is comfortable with he might just give everyone out there all they can handle.

Hoping he has some fun, remains injury free, and doesn't end up dogging the bike if things don't go his way.

Blake's been riding longer than 14 days and he started riding when fully healthy. Chad isn't anywhere close to fully healthy even today. If he races, I will be very surprised.

Say what you will about Reedy, that cat is a racer through-and-through.

Hoping he's making some drama with that nails through the foot comment.
Surely he wouldnt ride if he was going to cause himself more damage.

Where did JT say that he was 20 secs faster on the test track?

Edit: Just saw JT post above looks like Chad is still pretty worse for wear.

Sounds like a job for a Toradol injection to me. Pay no attention to me, I'm just a Vital MD.

Didn't the doc clear Reed? Why would they clear him if there is a high chance for further damage? Perhaps he won't do more damage riding, but he just isn't fully healed... Hence the pain.

Not Healthy is an issue but hes rode thru worse..id be more worried about actual riding timing sections and not letting pride push him into a fall..
Is he riding at race pace at all?

I had my Talus fused and the pain was there for a while, but it's solid as a rock now too... Seems some injections could be a good idea if it's healed and pain management is just the issue.

Don't think it'll be an instant race winning formula... But I do think that if he's comfortable he can still do it, like Phoenix... and I also think he's got a better chance of being comfortable on that bike than a lot of others.

I know it will not happen, but can imagine how crazy a stadium will be if he wins one of these things this year. Moto fans may burn down whatever city they are in

The dude is nothing but a straight up Baller. Good for him and wish him nothing but luck and hope he has fun. Never was a fan of his until the last few years and have nothing but respect for him now.

They should put the names of the guys who are paying for the experience each week there!
