Smile The point I was trying to make was aside from better graphics in All Out, we’ve done this beach free ride thing before. Both environments look pretty similar.

Free ride could be good if you started out in the center of the map at a campsite with pickups and toyhaulers, and then each direction had some gnarly single track that was strewn with roots, logs, rocks, water crossings, etc. Wide open beaches and canyons get boring after a few minutes of just going full throttle in a straight line. My opinion of course.
Couldn't agree more. And I figured that was your point. haha.

There are some pretty simple adjustments to the game Rainbow could do to make both the serious and casual players happy. Why does it have to be casual only attitude from them? How hard would a casual/pro setting be to implement? Make braking a requirement when entering a corner - this feature alone would change a lot of the gameplay from wfo cornering currently implemented. Make each vehicle type feel special with dedicated tracks to fit that vehicle type. Sx tracks scaled to mx bikes for better racing into corners, etc for atvs with outdoors and utvs. I thought endurocross was interesting in Untamed (I think).Make some outdoor scramble type races that aren't the decade old style of waypoints, but a semi-open roped off track with slow technical driving layouts. It doesn't have to be their way or the highway, and that's the frustrating thing about how Rainbow operates.
This is agree with, if Rainbow was smart, they should give us the ability to race the likes of the Erzberg and make it fucking hard

Id like to see the following in this game..To Give it a bite into the market.. because the supercross is going to be hard to beat so why not be the first to have other racing disciplines? and make them challenging.

1. Redbull megawatt
2. Weston Beach Race
3. Enduropale du Touquet

I'm on board with the Weston race. I could pretend to be Sidecar

Maybe theyre taking the James Stewart marketing road. And it's working! Everyone is talking about this game more than Milestones SX game.

Well they always replicate the year of racing. Since the MXoN is at Redbud next year, they'll include it in the game.

It is the actual MXGP 2018 calendar. He's probably thinking Red Bud will be included in the game since when they release a game they include the previous year's track and not the tracks of the year it's released.

He should of posted it in the Milestone thread though.

Your exactly right, we're not gonna get it in MXGP 4 of 2018 because they already raced the GPs in 2017 so they replicate everything from that year into the next MXGP 4 and so on ... That's why I said for the 2018 GPs schedule they replicate it for MXGP 5 of 2019 hope that clearifies everything for everyone. Like for the 2017 GP schedule where gonna get the new track in Florida they raced, because I watched the guy tell him his track with be in the newest game of MXGP so that's awesome, anyways want sources just YouTube "MXGP 2017 Florida" or something and look for an interview. Hope Milestone just comes out with a full on Lucas Oil Motocross game though , but who knows

Well, we are a day away from December. The game was announced in August with an early Q1 2018 release date, and we still have yet to get any real news or footage of the game. Good thing Milestone has hit the ground running since announcing their game. THQ Nordic doesn't seem to have any interest in competing or putting up a fight, which is disheartening for the MX vs ATV franchise.

I am trying not to give up on Nordic, but at this point it's difficult. I'd love for a release to rival Milestone's Supercross game, but if that were the case I feel like we would have seen something from Nordic by now. Multiple trailers and screenshots have been released by Milestone, the ball has been in Nordic's court for awhile. I will continue to stay open-minded about the 2018 MX vs ATV game but at this point I have already decided to spend my money on the Supercross release. It looks dope. Nordic re-packaged their last game 2 times after the initial release in October of 2014--over 3 years ago, first as Supercross Encore in 2015 with a few more tracks and riders and again earlier this year as Supercross Encore Official Track Edition. They also made a significant portion of their game available only as DLC, which had to be purchased online in order to gain access. Think about it. By the time we get something new we will have gone through 3.5 years of the whip glitch. In that same span Milestone will have released 4 games, starting with MXGP in November of 2014. Personally, the MXGP series has been a blast, Supercross Encore was too arcade-y for me. It felt like a PS2 or PS3 game to me. Nordic lost me with repackaging the same game and forcing me to continue dropping money if I wanted new tracks, real bikes, etc. I played the MXGP games out of the box and loved them.

You know it'll be solid when the most vocal complaint for the Milestone Supercross game has been the number font.

Meanwhile Nordic THQ loses their potential audience each week that goes by with no new screenshots, gameplay videos, trailers, etc. I know they've promised a better game but games aren't bought based on promises. I am honestly hoping for the best but this is a bad sign IMO.

Nordic has repackaged the same game 3 times actually. Encore edition, track edition, and now the All In addition that includes the all DLC. They've polished the same turd and released it 4 times now. But we are supposed to take their word for it that the new one will be better.

At least Milestone had the balls to show their stuff, hear the feedback, then make changes before the actual release in February.

And MvA Supercross felt like they just hardly tweaked the Alive physics for the worse. I'm close to giving up on THQ Nordic too, BUT it looks like their social media is always littered with people bashing the physics, so maybe the new game engine they're using will dramatically change the game. I won't even mind if it's not that great, I just want to see them put forth some effort to create a dramatically different physics engine, rather than slightly tweaking a bad one.

Dilly Dilly!

if they had any faith in their product to compete headsup against a new challenger- then they wouldn't have it so tightly under wraps.

Or it's for the SECOND shittycross game, made for the 2018 season. More likely that given it was at an official supercross event and the setup looks exactly like what Milestone had in previous videos.

Would Milestone have rights to the riders names if they are the official game? Could Nordic use the names also?
And, never seen MX vs ATV ever have 3D models of the riders

Milestone doesn't just have the rights to put any rider in their game. The riders have to sign release agreements to be in the games. Same goes for Nordic. They can't just use real peoples names without permission.

I have a hard time believing Ride 3 would be coming this year. If it does though, please God let make more supermoto tracks that are tight and add tracks with dirt "motocross" type sections.

Worst marketing roll out I've seen in a long time. 2 months ago we were told we would see footage from them thru Michael. They obviously halted that. We've basically seen nothing.

I'm, honestly, in no care mode due to being on board with the other game but heck, I'd still like to see something positive from this crew. It's been very little MX, a lot offroad...which usually means boring wfo, not tight and technical...and a lot of soundtrack music which I always turn off anyway.

National replicas are my only hope for this game.
