Surely someone has to be close enough to make the drive over to Milestone MX. We need opinions of people who know how to play and not to mention some footage.
Also want to mention that the physics in All Out are apparently a mix between Reflex and Alive which in my opinion sounds pretty good considering they both had good things and bad things. If they bridged the gap between the two, it should be fun to play.
That game is 14 years old and wasn't that great to begin with, in my opinion. Alive/Reflex physics style or something completely new and fresh are what will interest me.

1. Fun and reliable physics (don't make me buy some damn frame to get better physics.)
2. Solid online racing MCM series was amazing I couldn't wait to race online and also on the zone.
3. User created content, this fixes everything else, tracks, bikes, gear. Users get to make the kind of tracks they like wide, narrow, realistic or not. MCM had some great tracks both real and some just flat out crazy. Developers need to quit worrying about dlc money associated with user content. If you have a fantastic game and some 15yr old kid that spends 40hrs creating content for your game makes something that attracts more players then your game just sold that much more. I remember going to some random kids house and he was not a motocross guy at all but more along the star wars kid variety, he had motocross madness 2 on his pc, why? He could make his rider a storm trooper and he loved seeing what new tracks people had created.
Mx vs atv unleashed lived on for so long because of user content take that away and the game would have died, same with mx SIM and others.
Really interested to see what this track editor for milestones game will provide. Hopefully we get a similar response from rainbow/nordic but I'm not going to hold my breathe.
Anyone see this?
Licensed riders is a good thing but they've always had that.
Hope to see some gameplay soon because they've done a really piss poor job at marketing it properly thus far.
ya know, it is a game. it’s a video game. of course they are going to cater to everyone and mainly kids. more kids are playing then 30 year olds. it’s almost like you guys are the older people still crying about a video game and it kinda makes me laugh when i think about it.
this game is goig to be great. it’s going to be fun and it’s going to have a lot of content.
if you don’t like it and you wanna be all hardcore about your moto experience then you need to get on mx sim. it’s that simple. or just stop crying about video games. time to grow up
the redundancy and competitive complaints in this thread is so unreal. and if you ask why i keep coming back? it’s because i know this is the first place ill see the latest in terms of any info that gets released.
And there is nothing wrong with wanting a better, more serious simcade experience. No, not MX sim, but a game that feels and looks realistic while still having options to be accessible to the mainstream.
I don't want a straight ssimulator, personally. But what I do want is a quality product from a company that's been doing this for over 15 years and one I've supported financially to the utmost. I don't expect them to listen to everyone but their core MX fan base. That makes little sense.
And yeah, that interview irked the sh*t out of me, Maverick. Lol. Just being honest.
As always, i will refrain from being too critical of All Out until I see some gameplay. But they do very little to inspire confidence and their track record gives me little hope. Which, again, is a bummer because there are people there that know how to make a solid simcade game. Alive JS7 stuff. Near perfect. Fun, challenging and looked and felt pretty realistic.
I think the game will be better than their, honestly, pretty downright poor marketing strategy. They've shown nothing. And don't say it is to fine tune things from the community. I just don't believe that.
The community has taken countless time to share their input. And for their troubles, the forum where we could share said input was shut down and honestly most of the replies there from some team members, one in particular, were just a brush off.
That is what is frustrating.
I will probably buy the game, I will probably play the game and when I play I will have fun with it.
I'm almost 30 years old, I'm no longer that guy that has to be the best and win leagues and stuff like that online. I have a life, so when I play I will jut have fun.
I remember playing mx 2002 and we would play tag in some of the freestyle open areas. It was so cool to do that on splitscreen. I also played tag on for a and I'm not going to lie I had more fun doing that than racing, not because I'm not competitve, but because I'm not willing to put in/nor have the time to be one of the top 10 best guys at a game anymore.
I played mcm, mcm2, mVA unleashed and unleashed wad the first one I played online. When I left the game I was top 5 on xbox live. After a little time away I then bought it for pc and got a gaming laptop to see how I would do on there and when the Rev expansion came out I won a lot. I was so good that guys thought I was cheating which I thought was the best form of flatery. But I'm not that guy anymore I'm married, work a 40 hr work week, i have better things to do with my life than live through a game.
Just have fun with it.
think about how many kids aren’t available to be a data point
This is the prime example of what we need from mx vs atv. It was way more sim then Tony hawk games looks industrial but still has arcade style.
Game was sick by the way.

Take some time and do a little bit of research and you'll see that what I said is correct. Obviously kids play video games but you'll be surprised at the stats that are available. You'll see that there's a lot more adults that play games than you think.
Go to any big gaming convention and I guarantee you'll see a lot more adults roaming around than little kids or teenagers.
And I agree on the realism part. Lining up next to mini riders that are on full size bikes takes away from that.
As for why they can't get the Reflex code back that might have something to with the fact that it might be proprietary to the team who coded it or the people that bought it. If that's the case it could be expensive to buy it back and simply just not worth it. Better off just to write a new code which in this case is what they did.
I'm pretty optimistic that All Out will be better than the previous games they've put out. It will for sure be better than Supercross/Encore. Add in that it was made with the Unreal Engine 4 and it's going to be the best looking game they've made to date.
Game was OK at best. I do not want anything related to Reflex
I think they'll be the same size as all the other riders, wearing gear from the companies that sponsors them and on full size bike. I highly doubt they'll have mini bikes in the game. 50cc/pit bikes were in Unleashed and the only other game I recall that had anything smaller than a full size bike was Jeremy McGrath Supercross '98 which had a YZ 80.
Hence the reason I think it's pointless for them to be included in the game. They could easily create themselves just like you and I will.
Could small wheel bikes be included in All Out? Absolutely. Will they? Who knows.
