It's reasonable to assume that most people would never come back from such a horrific injury. Based on Ken's own words, he stated numerous times that he was told by his doctors that people with this type of injury are unlikely to even use a utensils again. What we are witnessing is nothing short of miraculous.

Anyone else have consistent problems with loading TWMX videos?? Idk what it is whether its their player or actual site, but i literally never have a single problem with loading/streaming/down or uploading anything else EVER. Yet TWMX videos will never buffer continuously enough for me to even spend time visiting their site at all

I've had problems in the past. I have no idea why sites use their own players these days.

I just hope he can come back as good as before, super worried about that arm not being able to get strong enough or get enough motion back. We need Kenny in our sport, I don't think there's been anyone like him when it comes to personality and being able to reach people outside the sport since McGrath.
Don't get me wrong, Tomac is an amazing rider but, in my opinion, he's not that type of personality that makes the sport grow an creates interest from the average Joe.

How did Kenny look compared to Cole speed-wise?

Kenny never stops amazing me. Kid's got soul and determination.

Exactly.
I'm not sure what people want, perhaps a pat on the back, or maybe a "Weldone, you were right, he looks like he's gunna pull through".
Or should the people that thought differently get down on their knees and beg for forgiveness?..lol

Wow! He looks awfully comfortable out there. I would have never expected him to be able to ride like that already. I am rooting for him to win this new year.

And Vital says he won't be ready for A1....

It's fair to say, after the crash and the photo's, descriptions that followed, with multiple surgeries being undertaken, even people with medical knowledge were doubtful of A1 being realistic.
Now, that he's amazingly back on the bike and making progress, nobody is talking of him not making it back to race, whether that be A1 or later.
I'm not sure what people are getting at with these comments?
His recovery has seemingly been amazing, and everyone's rooting for him.

I was a skeptic that he would be back for '18 after those horrific insta-surgery pics.

And I will forever be blown away if he gets back to being close to as fast as he was before the accident. That arm is literally just a bone with no muscle and will never be the same, how it affects him at Max speed and aggression is yet to be seen.

I am glad to see him doing this well, he lookos great. I just worry how well the repairs will hold up if he has a get off or normal crash. Alot of hardware and repairs, never wanna see those injuries again.

I respect every guy that lines up for an AMA SX or Nat., but how can KRoc not be your favorite rider right now - I just do not know. I WANT him to win and I THINK he's going to win, if not right off the bat, then soon - It's usually not he same guy for me.

Unreal effort and heart from Kenny and kudos to everyone supporting him from his fiance, his family to his trainer to his PT guys, HRC and especially his doctors. GOOD FU*KING JOB EVERYONE!!

I actually kinda figured, hoped and predicted he'd be able to do this - but to actually see it happen....WOW!!

His return to SX in 2018 will probably give Honda more exposure than if he had gone on throughout the rest of 2017 season uninjured and winning races. After not even knowing if Ken would ever return to racing, Ralph is just not going to be able to believe it. Will be the most talked about subject during the broadcast.
I'm glad Ken is back. Like RC said, this sport needs him.
I hadn't even thought of that. Your right, either way it goes it's an amazing story even right now. There is plenty of content thanks to Ken documenting everything from the very beginning (smart move), I can't wait to see the documentary - hopefully ending with that arm hoisting the championship plate.

I'm sure its a combinations of haven't noticed it/perfect dirt/camera angles, but god he seems to be really getting the power to the ground and accelerating quick. No fish tail or anything like that just straight speed as if he were on tarmac. Good one KR94

Here it's from their youtube page.
Not sure why they have it on youtube but keep using their completely useless video player for the web page

Really impressed with his comeback, a great attitude and commitment can go a long way. Does he have full extension on his elbow already? Dont remember where but he showed he still couldn´t get his arm fully extended.

From my observation, Cole was hauling the mail and looked race pace, and Kenny was out there just shaking off the cobwebs.

Man i love watching that dude ride, so smooth and effortless. I know he's not going full speed but still he rides like most people could only dream of.

I just want to see how his arm is going to hold up. First big case or over jump in supercross will be the big test.

He has had at least one big mistake every year it seems and with the way his arm is I hope he doesn't have any issues with it.

A few months ago, I would have bet my own money that Kenny wouldn't ever be the same, but damn... Kenny is a bad man. I bet he could race MEC if he had to.

Kenny is a special athlete.

Motocross fans are lucky that he chose this sport to pursue.

Not to be that guy as I have mad respect for what Kenny is doing and his determination to be back at his best is nothing short of incredible but if Villopoto, Canard, Tomac, Millsaps and plenty others all showed every step of what they went through to recover from their injuries I'm sure we would have had similar things to say about them. I think Kenny's injury is probably worse than all of those guys but I remember similar talk about not racing again or whatever about Villopoto and Canard. I don't mean to take anything away from Kenny at all, what he's doing and has been able to do is down right amazing and should be an inspiration to all but some people act like we have never seen riders come back from very serious injuries before.

Oh.. Perhaps an asterisk next to his name would satisfy? lol
I'm positive no racer wants to go through that. Why play it down, will it hurt other injured riders feelings?
